About Right Hook
Right Hook Digital is a performance growth team helping eCommerce founders and DTC brands scale. Our creative team produces paid social ads across a wide range of brands, products and categories. That means the work needs to move fast, but volume isn't an excuse for average creative.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Visual Designer to join our award-winning team, where your creative vision directly impacts the success of exciting brands across Meta, Instagram, and TikTok.
You’ll work closely with your dedicated Creative Strategist, who provides the strategy and thinking behind what we're testing. Your job is to turn that creative strategy into high-quality performance ads across static, video and social-first formats.
That means making smart decisions about hierarchy, composition, typography, imagery, pacing, hooks, product visibility, movement and how an ad actually lands in-feed. We expect you to bring that judgment to the work, not wait for every executional decision to be prescribed in the brief.
Some ads might need to be beautifully polished. Others should feel native, raw or creator-led. A Right Hook Visual Designer understands the difference and knows how to execute both based on the brief.
What You'll Do Day to Day
You'll take creative briefs and translate them into paid social ads across Meta, Instagram, TikTok and other digital platforms. You won't just ask, “Did I follow the brief?” You'll think about whether the execution actually communicates the idea clearly and whether there is a stronger way to bring it to life.
You'll work across a mix of:
You don't need to have exactly the same strength across every format, but you should have strong fundamentals and be capable of developing range.
You care about the things that separate average creative from strong creative. This includes things like:
You know when something is technically finished but still isn't good enough to ship.
Performance creative isn't one-and-done. You'll work with your Creative Strategist and the wider team to understand what is working, what isn't and what we should do next.
Sometimes that means developing something completely new. Sometimes it means taking a winning idea and making the next version better.
We're an agency, there are deadlines, multiple brands and a consistent volume of creative moving through Production. You'll need to work efficiently and manage your time well. But speed isn't an excuse for sloppy execution.
We care about both creative quality and creative velocity.
What You Bring to the Team
Priority tools: Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.
Other key software our team uses includes Figma, CapCut, Higgsfield, Magnific, and ElevenLabs.
*We're more interested in the quality of your work than collecting software badges.
Bonus if you have
Why Join Right Hook?
🌍 Fully remote: Work as part of an international team across multiple time zones.
📈 Performance exposure: Learn how the creative you produce actually performs. You'll see what wins, what doesn't, and use those learnings to make better creative.
🎨 Creative range: Work across eCommerce brands, categories, formats and creative styles. You'll constantly flex between different audiences, visual identities and creative problems.
🧠 Develop your craft: Your development is built into how we work.
🤝 Work as part of a Growth Squad: You won't create in a silo. You'll work alongside a Growth Strategist, Creative Strategist, Media Buyer, Copywriter, and Campaign Coordinator, with each person owning a different part of how we grow our clients. You'll have visibility into the strategy behind your work, how it performs once live, and what the team learns from it.
🔥 A team serious about creative quality: We're actively investing in raising our creative standard. You'll work in an environment where good creative is recognised, average work is challenged, and feedback is part of getting better.
Think You’re the Right Fit?
We're looking for someone who cares about making genuinely strong ads that perform and wants to keep getting better at it. If you have strong creative instincts, care about craft and like the challenge of making creative that has a commercial job to do, we'd love to see your work. 👉 Apply through this application link
