Textio helps companies hire and retain diverse teams by eliminating bias in the most critical moments across the talent lifecycle. Textio gives you the tools to build high-performing teams by attracting diverse talent and supporting their career growth!
What is it like being a Textio?
When you set out to invent a new kind of software—and company—one day you’ll come to work and find that you don’t know how to do something. You’ll meet new kinds of problems that you’ve never solved, or start a conversation you're not sure how to have, or discover a need for something that’s never been made before. For Textios, these are days that we love. We meet these challenges together, by acting on a shared set of principles. It’s what makes us a team.
These principles guide our work
Speak truth
Don’t sugarcoat, be real. Reduce the distance between what you believe and what you say. Share transparently and authentically without fear.
Play to win
Compete and celebrate as a team, with winning as the goal. Do your part and trust others to do theirs. Have fun, don’t be so serious. Leave the ego and drama behind.
Be fast and fearless
We’re the underdog, so stay on offense. Take action when you’re only 75% sure. Ask advice, but don’t wait for permission. Be willing to change quickly if you’re wrong.
Fight for our customers
Obsess over our users. Listen actively and understand them deeply. Champion customers fiercely. Be their greatest advocate internally and their best partner externally.
Innovate with purpose
Build diverse teams to sharpen ideas with different perspectives. Focus on creating moments of delight. Build the better mousetrap only when it differentiates.
Take ownership
Look for gaps and fill them without being asked. Lead by doing the work. Promise and deliver: say what you’re going to do, and then do that.
