• Perform preventive maintenance, operational service, equipment inspections, failure analysis, and basic welding to keep customer equipment safe and running to manufacturer specifications.

• Put safety first in every job by properly securing equipment, following OSHA, DOT, and company requirements, maintaining a safe service vehicle, and actively participating in our Safety First culture.

• Keep accurate service records, maintain the parts and supplies needed to complete your work, continue your technical training and certifications, and support the team wherever needed.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of forklift repair or related mechanical experience; mechanical or trade school training is preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of material handling equipment, along with the ability to read precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.

• Strong customer service and communication skills, with certification on at least 65% of the Briggs Equipment product line; Hyster-Yale technical certifications are preferred.

• The ability to perform hands-on work that includes frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
