Speech and Debate coach

The Debate program

Research. Evidence. Structure - these are the pillars of our debate program. We teach students to build and support arguments, analyze impacts, and master flow, rebuttal, and frameworks. Beyond debate, they learn research, argumentation, and teamwork. The Dipont Debate program takes students from fundamentals to tournament-level strategies, covering current event topics.

We also organize tournaments across China, offering local and national competition.

Curriculum

Dipont Education has its own curriculum designed by speech and debate professionals with decades of experience. Speech and Debate classes also prepare students for competition in formats such as Public Forum Debate, Original Oratory, British Parliamentary, World Schools, Model United Nations, Extemporaneous Speaking, as well as others.

Teachers are also given the autonomy to adapt the curriculum to their strengths as a teacher and the needs of a student. We are not a center that expects teachers to just teach straight out of a book!

Your Typical Schedule

This full-time role involves a five-day workweek, including Saturdays and Sundays, with two days off scheduled between Monday and Friday.
