Sommelier

Calling all aspiring Rotters! Do you want to taste the best wines in the world every day? Do you want to be part of our world class training programme? Do you want to join a team of enthusiastic wine lovers? If the answer is yes, read on.

Sommelier

You’ll have spent a few years working at a restaurant with a recognised wine list as a waiter or sommelier and have genuine warmth and a love for providing great hospitality.  You’ll have a thirst for knowledge and will be motivated to become the best wine professional you can be. You’ll have a good awareness of the producers we feature in our magazine and on the list.

You’ll work a section on the bar floor or restaurant, providing the highest standards of table service to our customers while selling from our constantly changing wine list. Off the floor, you will assist with the organisation and administration of the wine program.

Work somewhere exceptional

Noble Rot is one of Britain’s foremost places for people serious about a career in food, hospitality and wine. Especially the wine! Started in 2013 as a genre-disrupting independent magazine that has played a huge role in helping to make the world of artisanal wine more accessible to a younger, broader audience, many of our senior staff have been drawn from as far away as Australia and California by Noble Rot’s strong sense of purpose, and its industry leading training and staff development schemes.

Working at Noble Rot’s three restaurants means being a part of a professional, dynamic, people-loving, gastronomically obsessed culture where everyone is constantly learning from each other. We always employ ambitious career driven people on a permanent, full time basis and we take great pleasure in helping to nurture the next generation of passionate hospitality professionals.
