About Us
We’re November Five. Makers, designers, strategists. Different backgrounds, one mindset. We say what we mean and do what we say. Passion walks in; expertise grows.
Feedback is direct. We’re hard on the facts, but kind on the people. We wear more than one hat, and we’re proud of it. We collaborate hard and we’re always looking for more people like us.
We’ve also built things of our own. Appmiral, Spencer, Gorilla, Wovian. Four ventures born inside November Five. When the right idea meets the right people, we build it. That’s not a side note. It’s part of who we are.
About The Job
Note: We're not actively filling this role right now. But great people don't show up on command. And we know that. So if this description gets you excited, we want to hear from you. We want to be transparent about where we stand and when we're hiring. But we don't let a strong match pass by. If your profile fits, expect to hear from us. As a Solution Architect at November Five, you turn business goals into clear, realistic technical solutions. You guide clients and teams through complex choices, and you keep our digital products scalable, secure, and future‑proof.
You connect strategy, design, engineering, data, AI, and MarTech. You enjoy both the big picture and the practical details that make things work in real life.
IF YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL:
- Lead architecture and discovery workshops with business and IT stakeholders, mapping current systems, integrations, data flows, and risks
- Design and document solution, application, and integration architectures for web and mobile products, following cloud‑native best practices on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
- Create clear C4‑style architecture diagrams and technical documentation that guide teams and build stakeholder confidence
- Define and guard non‑functional requirements and architectural standards (performance, scalability, security, observability, maintainability)
- Shape how we use cloud, data, MarTech, and AI‑powered capabilities to improve customer experience
- Use AI tools yourself (for analysis, documentation, coding support) to work faster and smarter
- Support proposals and client pitches with clear, no‑nonsense solution stories
- Build long‑term trusted relationships by being reliable, transparent, and solution‑oriented
Requirements
The skills you will bring:
- 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Senior Engineer owning end‑to‑end solutions for digital products.
- Experience in digital agencies, tech consultancies, or a product-driven environment, working with cross‑functional, client‑facing teams.
- Clear communicator: You explain complex topics in simple language and adapt to your audience.
- Structured thinker: You make trade‑offs explicit and document decisions so others can follow.
- Comfortable in workshops and client meetings, you can handle tension and keep discussions productive.
- Affinity with modern digital stacks (web, mobile, cloud, integrations, MarTech) and interest in AI in products.
- Curious and hands‑on: you like trying new tools and patterns, but you stay pragmatic.
- Team player who gives and receives feedback with respect.
- Fluency in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
