Welcome to baramundi!
"Don't leave your future to chance." The software market is constantly evolving – just like our development team. To strengthen our Research & Development department, we are looking for flexible thinkers and agile doers. After all, the success of baramundi solutions doesn't come out of nowhere – it comes 100% from Germany. At our Augsburg location, well-coordinated teams from the disciplines of software development, testing, product ownership, and agile coaching are shaping the software products of tomorrow.
The only thing we're missing right now is you.
Do what you do best:
- TAKE RESPONSIBILITY You take responsibility for the quality of our product and actively shape the further development of our testing processes
- BE AGILE As part of a self-organized Scrum team, you are responsible for tests at all levels – with a focus on developing automated test solutions
- THINK AHEAD You consistently develop the test strategy together with experienced test engineers
- WORK NETWORKED You participate in cross-departmental coordination
- SET GOALS You work hand in hand with your team, support the definition of clear acceptance criteria, and accompany their implementation until approval
- HAVE FUN You find your place in our colorful and collegial environment
What we appreciate about you:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in software development—ideally with a focus on software testing
- Strong proficiency in software development using C# or C++
- Experience with at least one scripting language — ideally Python or PowerShell
- In-depth knowledge of test automation, test design, test strategy, defect management, and test case creation
- Enthusiasm for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated component and functional tests as well as associated test frameworks
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Excellent written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
Our doing:
- Programming languages: current object-oriented programming languages C# and Python
- Development environments: Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, unit test frameworks, or Git
- Nice to have: knowledge in .NET (Core), SQL Server, and ISTQB certification
- Client-server applications: WPF, Windows API, WCF, Microsoft web frameworks, and other web technologies
