Working alongside specialists across systems, software, hardware, safety and certification, you will help ensure that security risks are identified, understood and addressed through robust engineering solutions. This is an opportunity to influence the design of advanced airborne technology while contributing to a strategically important UK defence programme.

This is a product and systems security engineering role, focused on embedding security into complex, safety-critical airborne mission systems.

In this role you will:

Develop and maintain security requirements for complex airborne electronic and mission-computing systems
Undertake threat modelling, vulnerability analysis and security risk assessments throughout the engineering lifecycle
Support the development of security architectures and secure-by-design solutions
Produce the security evidence, documentation and assurance arguments needed to support accreditation
Work closely with systems, software, hardware, safety and certification engineers to ensure security is embedded within the overall product design
Review proposed designs and identify security weaknesses, risks and proportionate mitigations
Engage with customers, partners and internal engineering teams on product-security requirements and technical decisions
Contribute to the development of technologies that will support future combat-air capability
