About Us

Here at Tarro we build products that empower small brick and mortar restaurants by liberating them of the operational burden of running their business. We accomplish this by providing a frictionless connection between them and their customers through our multi-product ecosystem offering AI-enabled order taking, delivery enablement, payment solutions, and marketing capabilities. At Tarro, we use a combination of bits (technology) and atoms (people) to solve real world problems facing small business owners.

We obsess over placing our customers first and working backwards from there. When our customers succeed, we succeed. The restaurant industry in the US is over a $1 trillion total addressable market (TAM), but remains relatively underserved by technology. Large chains are able to afford expensive tech that gives them a huge advantage; we believe that small restaurant owners deserve access to the same technologies at an affordable price.

Tarro has been profitable for nearly a decade and seen 5x revenue growth in the past four years. As of our last fundraising round in mid-2022, we were valued at $450M and have since seen substantial growth across customer acquisition, product development and company headcount. Thousands of loyal restaurants have entrusted Tarro with their success, and together we have supported nearly 20 million customers. We are proud to be named one of Built In’s top companies to work for in 2024.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Graphic Designer to join our creative team. You’ll take the lead on designing direct mailers, digital ads (for both demand generation and brand awareness), sales enablement materials, SEO graphics, and more. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop designs that capture our company’s story and resonate with our audience.

We’re searching for a natural “dot-connector” with raw mental horsepower – someone who picks up new ideas at lightning speed, spots what really matters, and pieces it all together to create something fresh and valuable. We value first-principles thinkers who don’t just rely on what’s been done before, but dig deeper for better, more original solutions.

If you’re aligned with Tarro’s vision, ready to commit to a true startup challenge, and able to execute when it counts, we’d love to talk.

What You’ll Accomplish In Year 1

Design engaging direct mail pieces, from concept to final production, that balance brand identity, visual impact, and clarity. This includes understanding print layouts, color accuracy, and postal specifications, as well as collaborating with vendors to ensure high-quality results that capture attention and drive responses.
Develop and execute creative concepts (in digital, print, and OOH) for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to translate ideas and concepts into compelling visual designs.
Create illustrations that enhance our storytelling and (as needed) evolve them into dynamic
animations that add visual interest and engagement to our web pages.
Create and implement high-quality, responsive web designs using Webflow.
Monitor web analytics and participate (and contribute creative ideas) in brainstorming sessions for website improvements and new projects.
Ensure designs are consistent with our brand guidelines and visual standards.
Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices into our design process.
