Enzo Health is a healthcare technology company transforming home health operations through purpose-built artificial intelligence. We deliver a secure, HIPAA-compliant AI platform that unifies intake, clinical documentation, coding, and quality assurance—enabling agencies to reclaim time and revenue while elevating patient care.
Enzo addresses the critical challenges facing home health agencies today: rising operational costs, clinician burnout, shrinking reimbursement margins, and increasing compliance demands. Our integrated AI solution automates documentation workflows from referral to final QA, allowing clinical staff to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
Our Solutions
- Enzo Intake: Delivers intake decisions in seconds, automatically extracting key data from referrals to increase admissions and reduce processing delays.
- Enzo Scribe: Auto-generates OASIS documentation, clinical narratives, and care plans, reducing documentation time by up to 75%.
- Enzo QA: Ensures documentation meets the highest clinical standards with approximately 95% coding accuracy, reducing compliance risk while increasing reimbursement by an average of $185 per episode.
Our Impact
Trusted by top-performing home health agencies nationwide, Enzo delivers measurable results: documentation time under 25 minutes per visit, referral intake under 5 minutes, and 30-50% savings per episode of care. These efficiencies effectively double staff capacity while maintaining exceptional quality and compliance.
As reimbursement pressures intensify, Enzo Health empowers agencies to navigate cost-cutting measures without compromising care quality, positioning AI as the essential strategy for sustainable growth in home health.
About the role
As a Senior Designer at Enzo, you'll own major surfaces of an AI-native EHR alongside our existing design and product team. You'll design for four very different users inside the same building: the field clinician charting on a tablet, the coder working three monitors deep in ICD-10, the QA reviewer scrubbing charts before a claim goes out, and the agency owner who wants one screen that tells her whether the business is healthy. Each one needs a different product, and they all need it to be the same product.
You'll also design the interaction layer for AI that clinicians have to be able to trust. When Enzo Scribe drafts a narrative or Enzo QA proposes a different primary diagnosis, the design decides whether a nurse accepts it blindly, rejects it reflexively, or actually reviews it. Provenance, confidence, correction, and the moment of human sign-off are interface problems with clinical and regulatory consequences. Getting them right is a large part of this job.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end design for major areas of Enzo EHR and the product suite (Intake, Scribe, QA, EHR), from discovery and interaction design through visual design and the details all the way into shipped code review.
- Design for the real conditions of home health: tablets in the field, spotty connectivity, one-handed input, interruptions, and clinicians who never asked to become software power users.
- Design the human-in-the-loop patterns for AI output (how suggestions are surfaced, sourced, corrected, and approved) so that speed never comes at the cost of documentation accuracy.
- Turn dense regulated workflows into interfaces that hold up: OASIS-E assessments, plans of care, physician orders, ICD-10 coding, QA review, and the Medicare revenue cycle.
- Extend and strengthen our design system so a small team can ship a large surface area consistently.
- Partner closely with engineering from the start.
- Work with our Forward Deployed Clinicians and Implementation team, who see every workflow break in the wild, and turn what they find into product changes.
- Prototype at the fidelity the question deserves and help the team decide fast.
Qualifications
- 5+ years designing complex software products, with meaningful time on data-dense, workflow-driven B2B or enterprise tools rather than consumer surfaces.
- A portfolio that shows depth over polish: a hard problem, the constraints you worked inside, the tradeoffs you made, and what shipped.
- Strong interaction and systems thinking. You're comfortable designing forms, tables, review queues, and multi-step workflows, and you know how to make them fast for people who use them all day.
- Fluency with a modern design system practice: components, tokens, accessibility, and handoff that engineers can build from without guessing.
- The ability to learn a regulated domain deeply. You don't need to know PDGM on day one, but you need to be the kind of person who will know it by month three.
- Clear communication and a high tolerance for ambiguity. This is a Series A company where the roadmap moves.
- Comfort working near engineering. Reading code, prototyping in the browser, or shipping your own front-end tweaks is a strong plus.
Nice to Have - Experience designing clinical software, EHRs, or other healthcare tools, especially for licensed clinicians as end users.
- Experience designing AI or ML-driven product surfaces where a human reviews and approves model output.
- Background designing for mobile and tablet use in field conditions.
- Accessibility depth (WCAG) and experience designing for long-session, high-repetition use.
- Prior experience at a high-growth healthcare technology company.
Why This Role Matters
Every home health agency in the country runs on software its clinicians resent. Documentation burden is one of the top reasons nurses leave the field, and the interface is where that burden is actually felt: not in the policy, not in the model, in the screen. We can ship the best AI in the industry and still lose if a nurse doesn't trust what it produced or can't find the one field she needs to fix. Design is the difference between a product agencies tolerate and the first EHR anyone in this industry has ever liked using.
