Hgen's mission is to achieve a clean and renewable energy future through providing foundational molecules for critical industries. By enabling cheap and abundant clean hydrogen, Hgen aims to help decarbonize the more than 10% of global emissions that are best addressed with hydrogen. Learn more about why clean hydrogen is critical for achieving zero-emissions.

Description

As a Senior Commissioning & Field Engineer, you will lead the commissioning and deployment of the electrolyzer modules in our factory and at the customer sites around the country. Your testing will ensure that our systems are ready for delivery and that we have a clear plan for how to deliver and integrate the electrolyzer modules at our customers' facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment, where your contributions will have a direct impact on the future of decarbonization.

Responsibilities

Devise, author, review, and execute test plans for factory acceptance testing, certification, and checkouts at customer sites

Develop clear plans for transit, including preparation and lifting operations

Resolve technical issues with innovative and resourceful solutions

Coordinate mechanical, fluid, and electrical work at customer sites in advance of and during deployment, including sourcing and managing remote vendors and contractors

Develop and execute maintenance procedures and schedules at customer sites

Create and maintain piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and the component and instrumentation lists for deployments and key test configurations

Track, organize, and manage spare parts inventory for maintenance

Support development testing and test stand upgrades as needed

Other duties as assigned
