Dcycle
ApplySales Development Representative Intern (Spanish Market)
Location: Madrid, Spain
Dcycle is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company that simplifies sustainability by making it transparent and easy to manage. We help businesses store and manage their non-financial data in one system, cutting through regulatory, financial, and technical complexity. After four years of exponential growth, over 500 companies rely on us to take control of their information and stay competitive. Our team is innovative, driven, and passionate about the work. Join us if you are hungry for a challenge.
We are looking for an SDR Intern to join our Sales team in Madrid for a 6-month internship. This is the entry point into B2B tech sales at Dcycle, and one of the best places in Spain to learn the craft from the ground up.
You will identify and engage potential customers, build the first relationship with them, and create qualified opportunities for our Account Executives. You will not be shadowing from the back of the room. You will own real prospecting work from your first weeks, supported by a structured ramp and weekly coaching to get you there.
Real ownership from day one. You run your own outbound activity and you are measured by clear metrics, the same way a full SDR is.
A genuine launchpad. Strong interns convert into permanent SDRs, and our SDRs grow into Account Executive, Partnerships, and leadership roles.
Mentorship density. Weekly 1:1s, live call feedback, and a team that treats teaching as part of the job.
A domain that matters. You will learn sustainability and ESG, one of the fastest-growing categories in B2B software.
Prospecting and outreach
Research and identify potential customers that match our ideal customer profile.
Run outbound sequences across email, LinkedIn, and phone to open conversations.
Qualify opportunities by understanding each prospect's context, needs, and priorities.
Pipeline and handoff
Book qualified meetings for Account Executives.
Prepare clean context for each handoff so the AE walks in fully informed.
Keep CRM data accurate and up to date (HubSpot).
Learning and collaboration
Complete a structured onboarding built around real sustainability use cases.
Work closely with Marketing and Sales to test and improve outreach.
Bring feedback from the market back to the team.
Metrics and ownership
Own your activity and conversion metrics, and review them weekly with your manager.
Meet or exceed your sales development targets.
We are looking for people who:
Communicate exceptionally well. You write and speak clearly, listen actively, and are comfortable starting conversations with strangers.
Have very high energy and a strong work ethic. You are hungry to improve and willing to pay the price to get better.
Take ownership. You follow through, you sweat the details, and you do not need someone standing behind you.
Learn fast. You are curious, versatile, and you turn feedback into action quickly.
Keep a great sense of humor. We spend a lot of time together and we enjoy it.
Minimum requirements
Spanish at native or bilingual level, and English at C1. Most of your prospecting will happen in Spanish.
Last-year student or recent graduate.
A real interest in starting a career in B2B tech sales.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proactive, organized, and goal-oriented, able to manage your own time.
Valid work authorization for Spain and willingness to work from our Madrid office.
Nice to have
Any first exposure to sales, business development work, or startups.
Familiarity with CRM or outreach tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar).
AI tools familiarity.
We value attitude and eagerness to learn over specific experience. A university background helps because it shows you can set and hit goals.
Compensation: €800 per month, plus a commission scheme from your third month onward.
11 days of PTO during your 6-month internship.
7 days of team-building per year.
Subsidized training for continuous development.
A clear path to a permanent SDR offer for top performers.
6-month internship
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible start between 8:00 and 9:30, and finish between 17:00 and 18:30, with an early finish at 15:00 on Fridays.
First two months: fully onsite in Madrid, so you can immerse yourself in the team, the product, and the playbook.
After that: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.
1:1s and General All Hands are always onsite.
We keep it tough but fast. We give feedback within 2 days and move quickly.
Screening call (15 min). We explain Dcycle and the role, and confirm fit, availability, and expectations.
Interview with Talent (45 min). Your story, your motivation, and how you think.
Interview with the Hiring Manager (60 min). A deeper conversation, including a short role-play so we can see how you communicate under pressure.
Interview with the Head of Operations (45 min). A practical session that stress-tests your resilience, attention to detail, and consistency.
Values and Founders conversation (60 min). A final fit check to make sure you will help raise our bar.
At Dcycle, we build ESG software that helps companies take control of their non-financial data: one system of record to collect, verify, and report with clarity. We cut through regulatory, financial, and technical noise so sustainability is transparent, actionable, and easy to manage.
We are a no-bullshit, high-ownership team. We challenge ideas, bring fresh perspectives, sweat the details, and grow fast, both professionally and personally. Our office culture is built on mutual respect, and we hold ourselves to high standards. Success is celebrated as a team, and we support each other through the tougher moments.
Our values:
We are #1. Driven by growth, passionate, energetic, and always ready to embrace challenges.
We fix what's broken. Ownership means taking responsibility for the outcome and the journey: spotting problems, building solutions, and driving results.
We take humor seriously. We are a close-knit team and it is a pleasure to be surrounded by our own.
We are intelligent. We learn quickly, adapt easily, and combine expertise with common sense to make smart decisions.
What is the hiring process like? It is tough but fair, and fast. We assess your communication, your attitude, and your potential. We give feedback within 2 days and aim to move quickly.
Do I need previous experience? No. We value attitude and eagerness to learn over experience. The right mindset matters more than your CV.
Does this internship convert to a full-time role? That is the goal for strong performers. The internship is designed as the first step toward a permanent SDR position.
Can I apply if I live outside Spain? If you have valid work authorization for Spain and are willing to relocate to Madrid, we are happy to consider your application.
Can I apply for multiple positions at once? Yes. We will assess your fit for each role and reach out if there is a match.
