🏢 Job Summary:
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate qualified sales opportunities by identifying the right prospects, initiating conversations, qualifying their needs, and booking meetings with senior decision-makers.
This role will primarily focus on outbound prospecting for managed IT services, while also supporting a technology partner/reseller program. You will be responsible for building prospect lists, conducting outreach, running initial qualification calls, scheduling qualified meetings, and maintaining accurate CRM records throughout the process.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- Research and build targeted prospect lists of small and mid-sized businesses, business owners, senior decision-makers, and IT service providers.
- Conduct consistent outbound outreach through phone calls, email, and LinkedIn using structured prospecting sequences.
- Identify and engage qualified prospects based on established target profiles and business needs.
- Conduct 15–20 minute qualification calls to understand the prospect's current setup, challenges, decision-making process, and potential timeline.
- Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings with senior sales representatives or business owners.
- Prepare clear hand-off notes summarizing the prospect, their needs, qualification details, and key discussion points.
- Follow up with prospects, reschedule missed meetings, and nurture leads that are not yet ready to move forward.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect information, activities, notes, and next steps in the CRM.
- Track outreach activity, meetings booked, and overall results, and provide regular performance updates.
- Identify opportunities to improve prospecting lists, messaging, scripts, and outreach sequences.
- Ensure prospects are directed to the appropriate service or partner program based on their business profile.
- Represent the company professionally and build relationships through a consultative, trust-based approach rather than high-pressure selling.
