Sales Development Representative (Salt Lake City, Utah based)

Lead the Future of Dentistry.

Overjet is the world-leader in dental AI. Already, thousands of dental providers and insurers rely on our platform to deliver the best possible care. Now, we’re looking for talented people to fulfill our mission: improve oral health for all.

Overjet is where builders become leaders. Everyone here loves to make new things: new products, new partnerships, new content, and a new category of AI technology. And as Overjet grows ridiculously fast, so will you.

Simply put, there’s no better place to accelerate your career. Come join us!

The Role

The Sales Development Representative owns the very top of our revenue funnel for sales into independent dental practices. If you don't build pipeline, nothing downstream happens — no demos, no deals, no growth. You'll report to our SDR Manager and work daily with Account Executives and Growth Marketing, but the outbound motion — the calls, the emails, the persistence when someone's said no five times — is yours to run. This isn't a role where you execute a script and hand off a lead; it's a role where you're the first person representing Overjet to a dental practice that's never heard of us, and how that conversation goes decides whether we get a shot at all.

You'll be onsite 5 days a week in our Salt Lake City office. This is not a remote or hybrid role.

What you'll own

• Building and running your own outbound pipeline — cold calls, cold emails, and whatever else it takes to get a qualified conversation started with a dental practice or Dental Support Organization that isn't already looking for us.

• Partnering with Account Executives on product demos and pitches, and helping map out how a deal with a given account should actually come together.

• Pushing deals across the finish line alongside Account Executives — supporting negotiations, untangling issues, and keeping relationships warm when a deal stalls.

• Establishing Overjet's presence in the dental industry, including representing us in person at conferences and industry events.

• Producing the presentations, analysis, and tracking that keep your pipeline and deals moving — not busywork, but the material that makes the next conversation sharper.

Who Thrives in this Role

This job rewards people who treat a "no" as data, not a verdict, and who'd rather build a pipeline from nothing than work a warm list. You should have some track record — in sales or in something transferable — of pushing through resistance to get a result, and enough comfort with a CRM (Salesforce or similar) to keep your own pipeline honest. Beyond that, we care less about a checklist and more about whether you're the kind of person who gets restless watching an industry move slowly and wants to be the one pushing it forward.

If you need a clearly defined process and a steady stream of inbound interest to do good work, this probably isn't the right seat. If you want ownership over a number and the freedom (and responsibility) to figure out how to hit it, it might be exactly right.
