Sales Development Representative

Who We Are

1stMILE is an automotive technology company helping repair and tire businesses create better customer experiences while driving growth for their business.

Our platform brings together integrated payments, flexible financing, customer loyalty, vehicle protection, and other technology solutions designed specifically for the automotive industry.

Through our network of automotive software partners and more than 18,000 businesses using 1stMILE solutions, we're uniquely positioned to connect shops with technology that can make an immediate impact on their business.

We're looking for ambitious, tech-savvy people who want to build a career in sales and are motivated by an environment where performance creates opportunity.

What You'll Do

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your job is simple: create sales opportunities.

You'll work targeted lists of automotive businesses that use software and platforms within the 1stMILE partner ecosystem. Your responsibility is to get decision-makers on the phone, uncover opportunities, and create interest in additional 1stMILE solutions.

This is a full outbound sales development role. You'll spend a significant portion of your day on the phone proactively creating conversations — not waiting for leads to come to you.

Responsibilities:

• Prospecting targeted lists of automotive businesses through high-volume outbound calling
• Connecting with business owners, managers, and other decision-makers
• Asking effective discovery questions to understand how a business operates and uncover opportunities
• Creating interest in 1stMILE's integrated payments, financing, loyalty, protection, and other automotive technology solutions
• Qualifying prospects and generating high-quality opportunities for the sales organization
• Consistently achieving and exceeding outbound activity and opportunity goals
• Continuously improving your messaging, product knowledge, and sales skills through coaching and practice

You don't need years of sales experience. We're more interested in your potential, communication ability, technical aptitude, and desire to succeed.

How to thrive:

• You want to build a career in sales and are motivated by advancement and earning potential
• You enjoy competing and being measured against clear goals
• You're confident picking up the phone and starting conversations with people you've never spoken with before
• You're naturally engaging and can build rapport quickly
• You bring energy, personality, and professionalism to conversations

What You Need

• Strong computer literacy and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence communicating over the phone
• Ability to think quickly, ask questions, and solve problems
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• A competitive mindset and desire to achieve measurable results
• Ability to receive coaching and apply feedback
• Desire to develop a career in professional sales

Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required.

We're open to candidates who demonstrate exceptional communication skills, technical aptitude, curiosity, professionalism, and drive.

What We Offer

• Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
• Hands-on sales training and ongoing coaching
• A clear path for career advancement within our sales organization
• Experience selling technology and financial solutions within the automotive aftermarket
• A performance-driven environment where strong results create opportunities
• Medical, dental, and vision benefits
• 401(k) with employer match

If you're great with people, comfortable with technology, competitive, coachable, and motivated to prove yourself, we want to hear from you.
