Quality Assurance Engineer (Preprint)

• We develop a suite of tools to prepare, validate and monitor jobs for our 3D printers
• These tools present users with a 3D view of the CAD models, allow them to add supports and other markup, show the resulting print instructions and help monitor long running compute processes to prepare the files
• We need a QA Engineer who is able to design tests from the perspective of a 3D printing applications engineer and consistently implement those tests as part of our validation and release processes
• Additional responsibilities will include coordinating and driving our release process and working with our dev ops and software engineering teammates to automate tests that can be automated
• Design and implement test plans for testing out desktop tools
• Work with applications engineers to reproduce and triage bugs
• Drive the release process for our desktop tools

Preferred experience

• 1-3 years of experience
• Optional experience with Qt applications
• Either experience with designing tests for and testing desktop software or experience with 3D printing
• Familiarity with CAD-like desktop apps
• Experience working with technical users of software
• Experience working with software engineers
