- Perform site visits to assess potential project locations, including roof structures, shading analysis, and electrical system compatibility.
- Evaluate site constraints, grid connection feasibility, and project risks.
- System Design and Optimization:
- Develop preliminary designs using industry-standard tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope).
- Optimize system layouts, equipment selection, and configurations to meet performance, budget, and client requirements.
- Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), solar PV system schematics, and other necessary documentation for proposals.
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
- Develop detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) and project cost estimations.
- Work with procurement teams to source and evaluate materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with technical specifications.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Provide technical support and presentations to clients during the proposal stage.
- Liaise with internal teams (sales, engineering, procurement, quantity survey and project management) to ensure alignment on project deliverables.
- Regulatory and Compliance Support:
- Ensure proposed systems comply with local regulations, safety standards, and grid requirements in Malaysia.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest solar PV technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
- Propose innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of project proposals.
Requirements
