Slang AI
ApplyAbout Slang AI
Slang AI is redefining customer engagement through conversational AI, making every interaction seamless and efficient. Our mission is to transform the restaurant industry by providing the ultimate voice AI solution for consistently outstanding customer experiences.
At Slang AI, we believe how we build matters just as much as what we build. We foster a culture rooted in hospitality, ownership, and clarity, where every “Slangsta” feels valued, supported, and connected to the broader impact of our work in the AI-powered future of restaurants.
What Your Experience Will Be
As a Product Solutions Engineer at Slang AI, you are the technical connector between what customers need today and what our product becomes tomorrow. You will be on calls with enterprise restaurant groups, working through pain points that no off-the-shelf feature can yet solve. You will be prototyping lightweight integrations or custom dashboards that turn those conversations into something real and shippable. You will sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and go-to-market, which means your work spans the full arc of how Slang builds and delivers value.
You will collaborate closely with our enterprise sales team, product managers, and engineers to support sellers on closing deals and work on internal innovations to support how we deploy our products. Revenue leadership is also deeply involved in both customer relationships and product direction, so this role offers a rare window into how strategic decisions get made at a fast-moving AI company. You will be a trusted technical partner on the pilots and deals that matter most, helping the sales team win and helping customers succeed once they are in. You will be in conversations that shape Slang's roadmap, not just executing against it.
A meaningful portion of your time goes toward internal impact as well. You will build and maintain the tools, dashboards, and automations that help Slang's own teams move faster and operate more clearly. Whether that is a reporting system that gives leadership cleaner visibility into key metrics or an AI automation that saves an operations team hours each week, your work compounds across the company. You will travel occasionally for customer meetings, team offsites, and company gatherings.
Why You Belong Here and How You Will Grow
Slang AI is a place where "overachiever fever" is less a motivational slogan and more a lived reality. The people here move fast, care deeply about the craft, and hold each other to a high bar. But it is not a cutthroat environment. We operate with genuine humility, and know-it-alls do not last long. You will find colleagues who are eager to share what they know and equally eager to learn from you, regardless of title or tenure. We call it "humility ability," and it shapes how this team actually talks to each other.
For the right person, this role is an accelerant. You will not be handed a narrowly scoped backlog and left to clear tickets. You will be in rooms (virtual and physical) with the CEO, with enterprise customers, and with engineering and product leadership, shaping what Slang builds next. That kind of exposure compresses the learning curve in ways that more conventional engineering roles rarely offer early in a career. You will develop fluency across technical problem-solving, customer communication, and product thinking simultaneously.
You will grow here because the work grows with you. The problems you tackle in month three will look very different from the ones you tackle in month eighteen, and Slang is committed to investing in your development, including your AI tooling fluency and ability to work across the full stack of a solution. When you grow, the company grows, and people here genuinely understand that.

Our Vision
Calling a business shouldn’t feel like a robot-hostage situation, where you’re forced to listen to horrible music and can't reach a human, while enduring a soulless voice uttering "I'm sorry I didn't quite get that" on repeat for eternity. (shudder) That’s why we started Slang AI We use the latest AI and audio wizardry to make transacting via voice so enjoyable it’s more human than human. By 2030, we will save businesses and consumers 1 billion minutes of precious time while transforming voice channels into the preferred mode of communication (it's faster and easier than text).
We have backgrounds building product at companies like Spotify, Buzzfeed, the New York Times, and OpenTable —shipping experiences that have reached hundreds of millions of users. Now, we’re using our backgrounds to start a new culture, one that puts product and human-centered design above all else while fostering constant learning and growth. Sound like something you’d like to be part of? Get on board.
