We are seeking a Product Manager II to join our team and oversee Non-steerable Asset Optimization capabilities within our Flex platform
In this role, you will be responsible for the core user experience of optimizing non-steerable devices, ensuring utility program managers can seamlessly manage demand response programs at scale
This mission-critical role focuses on our Predictive Capacity Dispatch (PCD) capability, which enables utilities to predictably rely on the load shed of non-steerable devices—such as smart thermostats—to achieve a flat, sustained level of load reduction during peak event windows
You will guide client readiness, collaborate on dispatch strategy, and manage OEM compatibility to ensure our most sophisticated non-steerable dispatch capabilities are scalable, resilient, and easy to use
Develop and articulate a clear product strategy for our Non-steerable Asset Optimization capability
Collaborate closely with engineering and design to shape strategy & roadmap, prioritize the most valuable problems to solve, and launch MVPs to quickly validate hypotheses in that strategy
Lead iterative product & design thinking to continuously measure, learn, and enhance user experience in our utility-facing products
Build a deep and data-driven understanding of customer needs, pain points, and real-life behaviors across programs
Drive user research with clients at every stage of product development
Define, monitor, measure, analyze, and report on key metrics for your products
Partner closely with Designer, Engineers, fellow PMs & User Researchers, Marketers, Account Managers and more across the business to align on core user problems (or JTBD) and uncover shared opportunities together
Champion a culture of continuous learning, feedback, and iteration
