We are now looking for a Product Manager who will shape the future of podcasting with us
Podimo is a subscription platform for podcasts and audiobooks that brings listeners and creators closer together. Our challenge is helping listeners find their next favourite listen and keep coming back, while helping creators reach and grow their audience
As a Product Manager at Podimo, you’ll own a product area and take it from problem to shipped solution to measurable impact, shaping how people experience Podimo at every step of their journey
The role can be based in our Copenhagen HQ, Amsterdam office, or Berlin office, depending on the right person
Discover: Dig into user behaviour and feedback to understand what people need and where the biggest opportunities are
Decide: Set clear objectives for your team that move Podimo’s goals forward, and align stakeholders on what to build and why
Build: Work hand in hand with an experienced engineering and design team to turn business and user needs into solutions built to grow with the product
Learn: Validate ideas through experimentation, own the impact of what you ship, and keep asking whether we’re measuring the right things and what’s missing
Along the way, you’ll contribute to a team that solves problems, learns from each other and grows together, in a culture that’s positive, inspiring and ambitious
Benefits
Performance, Learning & Development: Access to resources to help you thrive and build your career within a high-growth, dynamic company
Supportive Culture: Unlimited child sick days, free online therapy sessions, and a collaborative, high-performing environment
Flexibility & Well-being: Flexible hours and remote work options to support work-life balance
Parental Leave: Up to six months of fully paid parental leave for all new parents
Equity Participation: All employees have the opportunity to benefit from company growth through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
Preferred experience
You’re curious about why people listen, what makes them stay, and how small changes to the experience can make a big difference
You like working closely with a wide range of stakeholders - from engineers to designers - and you bring clarity when priorities compete
Most of all, you care about impact: you want what you ship to matter to listeners, creators and the business
Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio and video content, creators, entertainment and the media industry is a big plus!
Collaboration: You’ve built strong relationships with stakeholders across teams and backgrounds, and you’re comfortable standing behind a decision with evidence, while staying open to other views
Customer focus: You have 3+ years of experience working on B2C products and know how to uncover what keeps users coming back. Maybe even in a scale-up environment within tech, subscription, or media
Data fluency: You make product decisions with data, and you know when to ask what’s missing from the picture
Ownership: You’ve taken products from idea to results, and you can move forward when things are uncertain
Commercial awareness: You’ve connected product work to business results and can explain the trade-offs you made
Systems thinking: You look beyond the single problem to the bigger pattern, and you understand the trade-off between building something generic and shipping something fast
Adaptability: You’ve changed course when the evidence pointed elsewhere, and you can talk openly about what didn’t work
Recruitment process
We will conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, and the preferred starting date is January 1, or shortly thereafter. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
