Live and work in Wagga Wagga
Wagga Wagga is the largest inland city in NSW — a Riverina hub of around 67,000 people, sitting on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River midway between Sydney and Melbourne, and consistently ranked among Australia's most family-friendly cities. Housing is a fraction of Sydney or Melbourne prices, commutes are short, and the city offers a genuinely broad schooling landscape. Beyond the school gates, families have Victoria Park Lake, the Botanic Gardens and Zoo, Wollundry Lagoon, a lively café and dining scene plus easy weekend access to Riverina wineries and the Snowy Mountains (Thredbo is 3.5 hours by car). Wagga Wagga Airport offers daily 70-minute flights to Sydney and connections to Melbourne and Brisbane.
