Occupational Therapist - Bundaberg Central QLD

Occupational Therapist | Generalist Role | Bundaberg Central, QLD

Not every OT role needs to fit into a narrow box.

This opportunity is designed for a clinician who enjoys variety — someone who likes moving between different types of clients, settings, and presentations, without feeling stretched too thin or unsupported.

We’re partnering with a well-established allied health provider with a strong presence across regional Queensland. The team is known for being grounded, collaborative, and genuinely focused on quality clinical work — without unnecessary pressure or overcomplicated systems.

The role

• True generalist position across adults and paediatrics
• Mix of clinic-based and community work
• Exposure to a broad range of presentations (NDIS, rehab, functional work)
• Flexibility to gradually shape your caseload toward your strengths

Why this role feels different

• You won’t be pushed into a niche before you’re ready
• Clinical judgement is valued over rigid KPIs
• Workloads are structured to be sustainable long-term
• Support is available when you need it, without micromanagement

What they’re looking for

• AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist
• Open to early career or experienced clinicians
• Someone adaptable who enjoys a varied caseload

What’s on offer

• Competitive salary + travel support
• Structured onboarding and ongoing mentoring
• Professional development supported
• A stable, well-established team environment

Why Bundaberg?

You’ll have access to stunning beaches, including the Southern Great Barrier Reef, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere that makes it easy to switch off after work. The cost of living is significantly more affordable than metro areas, making it ideal if you’re looking to save or settle long-term. The community is welcoming and family-friendly, with strong local schools, healthcare services, and a growing population. You’re also well connected, with easy access to Brisbane for weekend trips while still enjoying the benefits of regional living without the daily congestion.
