Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
3+ years of commercial experience in Java development.
Strong knowledge of Java 21+ and Spring Boot.
Good experience with developing on Linux and a familiarity with bash scripting.
Experience with SQL databases and writing optimised queries.
Experience with ClickHouse is a plus, but not required.
Experience with Kafka (experience with Avro is a plus but not required).
Experience with a wide range of enterprise Java and Spring components, including Spring Data JPA.
Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with stream processing frameworks such as Apache Flink is a plus but not required.

A basic understanding of core microservice components such as service discovery, API gateway and service monitoring.
Previous exposure to the gaming / sports betting industry is a plus but not required.
Solid understanding of microservice architectures and best practices.
Experience with AI code assistance tools such as Gemini and Claude, and a desire to work with an AI-first mindset.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile environment.
An ability to pay close attention to detail whilst also seeing the big picture.
More than anything, we are looking for candidates who are good communicators, curious and inquisitive, and who love solving problems both individually and as part of a team.
Here's what we offer:
