At Verstela, we don’t just fill jobs—we create success stories for the talent, clients and communities we serve.
Our guiding principle is simple: we are successful when we help others become successful.
Year after year, we're named to ClearlyRated's Best of Staffing list, a testament to our ongoing commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
Position Overview:
If you’re energized by building relationships, opening doors, and turning a cold prospect into a real business conversation, this could be a great opportunity for you.
As a Market Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll help drive growth for your local Verstela market by identifying prospective clients, starting conversations, and scheduling discovery meetings for our sales and branch leadership teams.
This is a highly active, outbound sales role. You’ll spend your time making calls, connecting with prospects through email and LinkedIn, visiting businesses in person, and finding creative ways to build relationships. Success in this role comes from consistency, curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to do what it takes to get the conversation started.
You will:
Prospect and identify new business opportunities within your assigned market.
Initiate conversations with business leaders to schedule appointments for our branch teams.
Visit prospective clients in person through regular market canvassing and drop-ins.
Find creative ways to provide value and build relationships
Meet daily and weekly targets in a rewarding environment.
What Success Looks Like
Your primary focus is creating qualified opportunities for the local sales team. Success will be measured by your ability to consistently meet weekly new client appointment goals, generate strong prospect engagement, and schedule meetings that turn into meaningful sales conversations.
You’ll also be expected to maintain consistent outbound activity and a strong discovery meeting show rate.
What We Offer:
You’ll Thrive Here If You Are:
Competitive and goal-oriented, but also relationship-driven. You enjoy the challenge of getting someone’s attention, finding the right approach, and creating an opportunity where one didn’t exist before. You’re comfortable picking up the phone, walking into a business, trying something different when the first approach doesn’t work, and staying focused on the end goal.
Most importantly, you bring a “Whatever It Takes to Win” mindset and enjoy being part of a team that celebrates results.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: Broomfield or Aurora, CO (Onsite) with travel to local clients and meetings
Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour (additional monthly bonus that can range up to $900 - $1500 if one is exceeding goals)
