To understand the influence of vehicle architecture on multi-spectral signature.
To understand the overall product life cycle of military aircraft with respect to its influence on signature.
To master the area of signature reduction.
To master LO design and analysis (radar, IR and visual), being able to specify designs and architectures to meet LO requirements.
To characterize and validate signature via simulations and measurements, defining the adequate simulation / test plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this framework, the current position targets early stages in the career of a LO Engineer, looking for the following T&A:
To perform advanced LO analysis and Radar Cross Section (RCS) predictions using electromagnetic (EM) simulation tools (both proprietary and commercial).
Active participation in multidisciplinary designs. Propose design modifications (geometry, materials…) and drive designs to achieve LO requirements.
To prepare complex CAD geometries to get accurate results from electromagnetic solvers.
To post-process and interpret large volumes of simulation data, translating them into clear, actionable design recommendations for multidisciplinary engineering teams.
To devise test plans and validate simulation results against measurement of real prototypes, quantifying both simulation and measurement limitations.
