- Collaborate with product managers, architects, UX designers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation plans.
- Drive engineering excellence through adoption of software design principles, code quality standards, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery practices.
- Take ownership of technical design decisions, architecture reviews, code reviews, and mentoring engineers across the team.
- Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies including unit testing, integration testing, API testing, automation frameworks, and quality gates to ensure production-ready software.
- Proactively address security throughout the software lifecycle by implementing secure coding practices, supporting vulnerability remediation, addressing penetration test findings, and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, and related technologies to improve engineering productivity, code quality, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while ensuring responsible and secure usage.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, cloud platforms, API ecosystems, AI-assisted development, and modern software engineering practices, bringing innovative ideas to the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, with significant hands-on expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, API development, and distributed systems.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting external and internal REST APIs consumed by customers, partners, and internal applications.
- Strong experience building and operating microservices-based architectures, including service communication patterns, scalability, resiliency, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
