IT Sales Representative

About Stimulus Technologies

Stimulus Technologies is a Henderson, Nevada based Managed Service Provider, Internet Service Provider, and VoIP provider. Founded in 1995, we are ranked on the MSP 501 and have been recognized twice by MSP Titans of the Industry, as the 2024 Southwest winner and a 2025 Nationwide and Multi-Location finalist. We currently serve commercial clients across Nevada, California, Missouri, and Oregon, and we hold a 98.33 percent client satisfaction score across our managed services base.

We are building our first dedicated commercial sales team from the ground up. That means the systems, the scripts, the CRM, and the sales motion itself are being built in real time by the people doing the work, not inherited from a playbook written years ago by someone who has since left. If you want to join a sales team after it is already running smoothly, this is not that. If you want to be one of the first people who made it run, keep reading.

The Opportunity

Our Inside Sales team generates qualified appointments with business owners, office managers, and IT decision makers who have expressed real interest in managed IT services. Your job is to walk into those appointments and close. You run discovery, conduct technical assessments alongside our Sales Manager or a senior technician, build proposals, and shepherd deals through a buying process that typically takes 30 to 60 days from first meeting to signature.

You will be the first Account Executive hire at Stimulus. When you join, the Inside Sales team will still be ramping alongside you, which means a full calendar of handed appointments will not exist from day one. In the first 60 to 90 days, you will be expected to self-generate pipeline through your own outbound activity while simultaneously attending and closing every appointment the inside sales team produces. You will continuously be self-generating through networking and using other tools. The role is for someone that is a hunter.

If you have built your own book of business before and know what it actually takes to create a pipeline from nothing, this role will suit you well. If you need a full diary handed to you before you can operate, this is not the right fit, and that is worth being honest about now rather than three weeks into the job.

What You Will Do

• Attend every appointment booked by our Inside Sales team within 48 hours of scheduling, fully prepared with pre-call research on the company

• Run structured discovery calls using a defined framework to identify pain, quantify risk, and confirm fit before proposing anything

• Attend events and other networking meetings for prospecting

• Conduct on-site or virtual technical assessments alongside our Sales Manager or a senior technician

• Build proposals in our platform, reviewed and approved internally before delivery to the prospect

• Present proposals in a live meeting, never by email and wait

• Manage the full sales cycle from first meeting to signed agreement, handling objections, buying committees, and competitive situations along the way

• Maintain a pipeline of at least 3 times your monthly MRR target in active, dated opportunities at all times

• Hand off every closed client to account management with complete discovery notes and zero surprises

• Feed objection patterns, competitive intelligence, and ideal customer profile learnings back to the Inside Sales team on a regular cadence

• Multi-thread inside prospect accounts to identify the economic buyer, the technical champion, and anyone who could veto the deal

What We Are Looking For

• 3 to 5 years of B2B Account Executive sales experience, ideally in managed IT, telecommunications, SaaS, or technology services

• A demonstrated, specific track record of closing deals averaging $10,000 or more per month in recurring revenue, you should be able to name the deals, not describe them in general terms

• A consultative approach to selling: you diagnose before you prescribe, and you do not pitch features before you understand the problem

• Comfort presenting proposals to business owners, CFOs, CTOs, CIOs, COOs, and mixed buying committees, not just a single friendly contact

• Experience managing a pipeline inside a CRM, HubSpot, ConnectWise, Salesforce, or an equivalent system

• Basic working literacy in Microsoft 365, networking concepts, and cybersecurity fundamentals, enough to have an informed conversation, not to configure a firewall

• Based in Nevada or willing to relocate, this is a hybrid role centered in Henderson

Why Join Now

This is a founding role at a company that already has 30 years of operating history, a proven service delivery track record, and a commercial sales motion that is already producing results before a dedicated AE even exists, our inside sales led process closed its first commercial deal and generated real new recurring revenue in the most recent quarter alone. You are not being asked to prove a concept that might not work. You are being asked to take a working motion and scale it.

That is a real opportunity for someone who wants ownership, not just a quota.

Salary: $65,000/yr OTE $100,000+
