As an iOS Engineer I on the Core team, you will build the foundations that power the WHOOP iOS App and develop features that empower members to optimize performance and longevity
You will play a critical role in building and scaling the foundational systems that power the WHOOP member experience for fitness, sleep, strain, recovery, and integrations
You will partner closely with other engineers, product management, design, data science, and performance science to shape and build the polished member-facing experiences for these features
Collaborate with the team and cross-functional partners through feature ideation, planning, and development to iteratively deliver new capabilities
Contribute to technical planning by breaking down requirements into clear tasks, identifying risks and edge cases, and delivering iteratively with support from senior engineers
Build and maintain native iOS features in Swift, communicating with RESTful backends to deliver reliable, high-quality member experiences
Improve app quality through testing, debugging, code reviews, and performance monitoring
Document features and technical decisions while learning shared engineering practices
