The Opportunity

Hope Media is seeking a friendly, organised, and service-focused Receptionist to join our team in Seven Hills. We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in providing exceptional service.

As the first point of contact for visitors, callers, supporters, and stakeholders, you'll play an important role in creating positive experiences that reflect our mission and values. This position combines reception, administration and office coordination, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our ministry.

This is a part-time position of 22 hours, with flexibility across 4-5 days per week at our Seven Hills studio.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for providing professional reception and administrative support across the organisation while ensuring visitors and callers receive a warm and positive experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming visitors, taking deliveries and managing front desk reception services.
• Answering incoming calls and emails and directing enquiries appropriately.
• Managing meeting room bookings, appointments, station vehicles, and on-site accommodation bookings.
• Coordinating monthly staff meetings and catering arrangements.
• Ordering and maintaining office, kitchen, cleaning, and stationery supplies.
• Supporting the upkeep and presentation of communal areas.
• Processing petty cash, filing, and general administrative tasks.

About You

• A genuine passion for the mission and values of the organisation.

• At least 12 months' experience in a receptionist, administration, or customer service role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a welcoming, professional manner.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• An eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
