Nomos
ApplyEurope pays more than twice as much for electricity as the US or Asia. To reach competitive price levels, Europe has to lean on solar and deliver the flexibility that makes this feasible. Nomos is building a full-stack power company to unlock that flexibility by connecting millions of homes to Europe’s energy markets.
At Nomos, we care about our craft and take full responsibility for what we build. We hire for spikes, not an absence of weaknesses, and look for exceptional ability backed by a record of achievement. This has brought together IMO and IOI medalists, former founders and Olympic athletes in a team whose individual strengths reinforce one another.
Nomos is built on the trust of our partners and the households we serve. Our partners put their reputation behind the energy products we build together. You will earn that trust with new partners and build our go-to-market function.
Identify lighthouse manufacturers, installers, and emerging companies with innovative products, proven demand, and loyal customers.
Lead the sales cycle and high-stakes negotiations with global businesses, including publicly listed companies.
Build and maintain a qualified pipeline, with clear priorities and next steps for every opportunity.
Build the playbook. Develop a repeatable approach to winning partnerships and scaling our go-to-market. Pair it with unreasonable hospitality: recognise when a partner needs more, go the extra mile, and follow through on the details.
Understand the market, not just the deal. Think ahead about how technologies and partner needs are evolving. Work with product, engineering, and partner success to shape what we build and where we grow.
You have the ability to go deep. You showcased that you can understand the product and market better than a customer in a very short time.
You bring warmth and presence. You put people at ease, listen before you speak, and pay attention to the details that matter to them.
German and English, both fluent. You’re comfortable leading a negotiation in either.
As an early member of Nomos, you’ll help shape the company and share in its financial upside. Backed by Index Ventures, we’re building a European category leader in one of the world’s largest industries, making electricity affordable and Europe more competitive.
Building a power company from scratch brings complex, rewarding challenges and the chance to solve Europe’s energy crisis for the long term. You’ll learn from people with exceptional depth in their fields, challenge each other’s thinking and take responsibility from the start.
