About Teledyne LeCroy Xena

As part of Teledyne LeCroy, Xena develops innovative Ethernet Test and Measurement solutions. Within Teledyne, Xena is the centre of excellence for Ethernet Technologies with a global organisation headquartered in Lyngby.

Xena’s vision is to offer scalable, industry-leading Ethernet test solutions that are intuitive to use with powerful automation options. Our primary customers are hyperscalers, leading network equipment and semiconductor manufacturers.

Since launching our first Ethernet traffic generation and analysis tool in 2010, we have been driven by the demand for high-speed Ethernet. Today, our 800G Ethernet test solutions are acknowledged as among the world’s best, and in 2025 we brought our next-generation 1.6Tbps Ethernet test platform to market.

Your Position

We are currently looking for a highly skilled FPGA lead/architect/implementor at our Lyngby office, to take a key role in the development of our next-generation platforms.

Our new platform is designed for ultra-high speed data processing supporting the fastest current and emerging Ethernet standards such as IEEE802.3dj and Ultra Ethernet.

You will be working with the latest - and largest - FPGA devices as soon as they become available, incl. engineering samples. You will take responsibility all the way from feature definition both at the architectural level as well as RTL design and implementation.

You will join a talented group of dedicated FPGA developers who share a strong team spirit and enjoy close collaboration with the other functions in Engineering.

Xena provides an innovative, motivating, and dynamic development environment, where you will have the opportunity to be heard and see the results of your efforts. Xena is characterized by a flat structure and an open culture.

The Technologies

• Complex Ethernet Layer 2/3/4 (MAC/IP/UDP/TCP) traffic generation and analysis
• Advanced Ethernet Layer 1 (PCS/PMA/PMD) features, very close to the hardware
• Leading-edge SerDes technology (both 112Gbps and 224Gbps)
• Advanced high-speed, ultra-wide data path processing
• Flexible and scalable FPGA architecture to be used across entire product line
• World's latest & largest multi-die FPGAs
• Using complex FPGA hard-IP (RSFEC, MACsec, PCIe, SerDes)
• Highly pipelined architectures with operating frequencies of 400 MHz+
• High-precision timing architecture for intra- and inter-chassis synchronization
• Direct communication with FPGA & PHY vendors on next-generation technology
• Meeting industry-leading customers on their requirements for next generation products
• Working closely with FPGA P&R expert team on architecture optimization

Your Experience

Preferably 8-10 years’ experience with leading advanced, high-speed FPGA architecture, design and implementation, e.g. datacom or telecom.

• Experience with architecting and developing large systems
• Experience with FPGA architecture and high-speed design (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog)
• Experience with synthesis and simulation (preferably Xilinx Vivado)
• Experience with data communication, high-speed Ethernet interfaces in particular
• Experience with scripting, primarily Python
• Experience implementing network protocols is an advantage
• Good English skills, both written and spoken - Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Engineering background (Master’s or Bachelor’s degree) in electronics or similar
