Founding Business Development Representative (BDR) – SP

Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $400B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients.

About the Role

We’re building out our first SP BDR team to generate leads and fill the top of our sales funnel as we launch the go-to-market function from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to shape the sales function in a hyper-growth environment and work closely with senior leadership to drive revenue and impact. This role will support both inbound and outbound sales motions — engaging with dental practices who express interest in Dandy while also proactively generating new opportunities through outbound prospecting.

Please note this role is based in-office in Barcelona. Fluency in Spanish is required, with Catalan as a strong plus.

What You’ll Do

• Be the first point of contact for a wide range of dental practice prospects.

• Generate new business through outbound channels including email, phone, and creative outreach tactics.

• Track sales activity using Salesforce and other tools, and continuously improve your processes.

• Pitch the Dandy value proposition, handle objections, and move prospects through the funnel.

• Collaborate closely with Account Executives for seamless client handoffs.

• Contribute ideas to build the SP BDR function from scratch — your feedback will shape our processes, tools, and strategy.

What We're Looking For

• 1-2+ years of professional sales experience in a high-growth environment

• Experience with cold calling (SMB targets are a big plus)

• Commitment to continuous improvement and desire to learn new sales concepts via rigorous trainings

• Ability to punch through ambiguity and ramp up quickly

• Experience with standard sales tools and a desire to explore and implement new tools to further streamline the sales process

• Overall track record of professional and academic success

• With the above stated, we are open to candidates of all backgrounds and encourage you to apply if interested!

Bonus Points For

• Outstanding professional references to share

• Experience with marketplace models

• Love of blitz growth environments

• Relentlessly positive attitude, strong sense of humor, and the ability to have fun at work
