When you need lead data enriched, you set up the enrichment yourself. When a workflow in Attio or PostHog needs automating, you build it rather than filing a ticket. You'll use AI and automation to make one person operate like a full team, and what you build now becomes the sales infrastructure the company scales on.”

The ad says“This is a full stack sales role in the truest sense. You'll prospect, qualify, run discovery, demo, negotiate, close, and then keep those high value accounts growing as their account executive. ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Founding Account Executive at Creem, you'll own the full sales motion end to end, from first conversation to closed deal to a growing account. We're building our sales function from scratch, and you're the person who gets to define how it works. You'll be the face of Creem to our highest value prospects: understanding what they're building, showing them how a Merchant of Record removes their tax, compliance, and payments burden, and closing them.

This is a full stack sales role in the truest sense. You'll prospect, qualify, run discovery, demo, negotiate, close, and then keep those high value accounts growing as their account executive. There's no SDR to hand you leads and no sales ops team behind you. You build the pipeline, you run the cycle, you own the number.

What makes this role different is the technical layer. We expect you to navigate the AI world comfortably and have real technical literacy. When you need lead data enriched, you set up the enrichment yourself. When a workflow in Attio or PostHog needs automating, you build it rather than filing a ticket. You'll use AI and automation to make one person operate like a full team, and what you build now becomes the sales infrastructure the company scales on.

This role carries founder level responsibility. Your vision and execution establish how Creem sells for years to come.

WHAT WE VALUE

- Autonomy with Impact: We don't dictate tasks. You choose the work that moves revenue the most.
- Problem Solvers: Our sales motion is still being invented. We need someone who acts fast, tests, and iterates.
- Technical Excellence: We prioritize high talent density and technical capability across every role, sales included.
- AI First Mindset: Every team member contributes to our AI approach through automation and technical leverage.

REQUIREMENTS

- Full Cycle Ownership: You've carried a quota and run deals end to end, from prospecting through close, ideally selling technical or financial products to developers, founders, or software teams.
- High Value Account Instinct: You know how to sell to and grow larger accounts, reading what matters to each stakeholder and building real relationships rather than pushing a script.
- Technical Literacy: You're genuinely comfortable in the AI and automation world. You can enrich lead data, wire up integrations, and automate parts of your own workflow without waiting on engineering.
- Scrappy Pipeline Building: You can build lightweight systems to find, research, and reach the right prospects without enterprise infrastructure.
- Founding Team Collaboration: You thrive working directly with founders, translating our vision into a sales motion while wearing multiple hats.
- Building at Scale Zero: You're excited to build a sales function from nothing and prioritize what delivers revenue fastest with minimal resources.

BONUS POINTS

- Attio and PostHog Fluency: You've worked hands on with a modern CRM and product analytics, and can bend both to your needs.
- Merchant of Record or Payments Background: You understand how software businesses handle payments, tax, and compliance, and can speak the language of the people you're selling to.
- Builder's Track Record: You've built and monetized your own projects, so you understand the customer from the inside.
- Community and Network: You bring relationships in the indie hacker, SaaS, or developer world that turn into pipeline.

OUR OFFER TO YOU

- Exceptional Compensation: A highly competitive package with real upside tied to what you close.
- Meaningful Equity: Real skin in the game as a founding member of the sales team.
- Relocation Support: Comprehensive relocation assistance, visa processing if needed, and first month's rent covered.
- Growth Budget: Dedicated budget for courses, conferences, and resources.
- Trust and Flexibility: We trust you to manage your energy and take time when you need it.
- Team Adventures: We work hard together and get out into the world together.
