In New Zealand, we operate a nationwide network of trusted brands including BNT, Autolign, HCB, NZ Brake Co, Precision Equipment New Zealand , and JAS, delivering one of the most comprehensive automotive parts ranges in the market.
We are more than an automotive business — we are a purpose-led organisation driven by our people and the role we play in supporting our customers and communities. A key part of this is our focus on knowing what our customers need before they do and being there for what matters most. Our New Zealand team is integral to the success of the wider Bapcor Group, contributing to both local excellence and regional strategy.
When you join Bapcor New Zealand, you become part of a supportive, high-performing business that spans more than 1,000 locations and employs over 5,000 team members across Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand. At the core of everything we do are our values:
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated people leader to take on the role of Assistant Branch Manager at our branch!
As the right-hand to the Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving branch success — overseeing daily operations, supporting a diverse team, and helping deliver strong commercial results.
You’ll help to lead a varied team including customer service representatives, drivers, warehouse assistants and the day-to-day internal operational activities in the branch. Plus, you’ll be in control of Customer Service, warehouse and delivery functions. Your leadership will help create a safe, efficient, and customer-focused workplace.
If you don’t already know, BNT is a pretty awesome place to work. Apart from a great culture, you get your birthday off every year. You get a paid day each year to do volunteer work. And we give all team members breakfast every morning. How good is that?
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with alternate Sat mornings. It comes with a very competitive salary, and lucrative incentive benefits for hard work and results. Oh, and exceptional discounts on our products!
The company has a flat structure, so you’ll get to work with senior leadership. You’ll also get plenty of opportunities to progress your career with our parent company, Bapcor, operating in New Zealand, Australia and Southeast Asia. So your career could take you anywhere.
So, if you’ve got a passion for leading and developing people, experience supporting a team, and a full clean driver’s license, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch right away. This position won’t last long.
