Who are we?
Meetingselect is the world's leading platform for meetings and events, enabling meeting planners at large corporate organizations across Europe, the US, and APAC to easily find and book the right meeting and event venues. Our platform connects organizations, procurement managers, and meeting planners with more than 500,000 hotels and meeting locations in over 150 countries. We are heavily investing in technology, AI, and innovation to continuously enhance our services and deliver even greater value to our clients.
We are a young, diverse, and multicultural organization with an informal and collaborative culture. We want everyone to enjoy coming to work and feel comfortable being themselves. If you thrive in an environment where you are given real responsibility, work alongside ambitious colleagues, and actively contribute to taking our operations to the next level, we would love to hear from you.
We want to meet you!
Meetingselect is entering an exciting new phase of growth, and Finance Operations plays a key role in supporting that journey. The booking of meeting and event venues involves a level of financial complexity that most platforms never encounter, including invoicing multiple parties, managing supplier reconciliations, and processing high transaction volumes across Europe. Over the past few years, we have invested significantly in building a robust ERP foundation, and the results are paying off.
We are now entering the next chapter. AI-driven innovation is becoming an increasingly important part of our finance transformation strategy, helping us improve efficiency, quality, and scalability across our finance processes. Technology enables speed and productivity, allowing finance professionals to focus on the cases that truly require expertise and judgment. This transformation is critical to Meetingselect's future, and you will play a leading role in it.
As Finance Operations Lead, you will report directly to the Finance Director and lead a team of four Finance Operations professionals, with team members based in both Amsterdam and India. You will work alongside project managers responsible for AI initiatives and collaborate closely with colleagues in Controlling and Cash Control within the broader Finance department.
Daily, you will serve as the key connection between Finance, Meeting & Events Operations, Sales, Business Operations, and IT. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will remain actively involved in the day-to-day operation, support your team with complex cases and escalations, and continuously look for ways to improve processes and performance. An affinity for AI and innovation is highly valued; we are looking for someone who sees technology as an opportunity rather than a threat.

What can you expect from us?
⭐ A challenging role with real ownership in a company that is actively investing in its next phase of growth ⭐ The opportunity to make a direct impact on how our Finance Operations team works and evolves ⭐ A forward-thinking organization that embraces AI and innovation in practice, not just in theory ⭐ A working environment that promotes collaboration, personal development, and continuous improvement ⭐ Typically four days per week working from our Amsterdam office, with the opportunity to work a fifth day as well ⭐ A competitive salary based on your experience and qualifications
