Novig
Apply$110k – $140k • meaningful equity
Novig is building America's #1 sports prediction market. Our mission is to financialize and democratize sports trading - taking a closed system run by casinos and turning it into a fair, efficient, two-sided market where the power sits with users.
With Novig recently becoming a CFTC-designated market — the fastest designation of its kind in US history— we're bringing the prediction market built for sports fans nationwide.
We're backed by some of Silicon Valley's top investors — Pantera, Forerunner, Lux, NFX, Paul Graham, and Joe Montana — who have collectively invested over $100M behind this vision.
The Novig Finance team is lean and deeply integrated with all parts of the business. From banking platforms, payment processors, marketing partners, investors, regulators, and more, we drive the fund flows and number crunching that runs the company.
From day one, you’ll own critical workstreams and be empowered to build workflows that scale. You’ll own payments, vendor relations, cash reconciliations, and support other operational and reporting workstreams that keep the business running. This role is highly cross-functional. You will work closely with all departments to simply Get Things Done! We’re looking for someone excited to dig into the financial details and be execution oriented.
You’ll have access to the best-in-class modern financial tools and platforms, and we are dedicated to building the best financial stack in the industry.
Own full-cycle accounts payable, invoice coding, vendor setup & KYB, and payment runs across multi-entity structure
Track and reconcile customer funds flows and processor settlements against internal records
Perform bank reconciliations across multi-entity accounts and flag discrepancies for review
Support the preparation of multi-entity financial statements and ad hoc analyses, as well as the monthly close process
Analyze financial performance and operations and implement optimization processes
Advise and execute buildout of financial reporting dashboards in collaboration with Data and Engineering
Support external audits, third party requests, and regulatory reporting
Liaise with state and local agencies for registrations and tax filings
2-3 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or finance at a high-growth startup or trading exchange
“I work with extremely stellar people, I own real systems, and decisions happen fast. No politics, no waiting for needless red tape. If something's broken, I fix it. If I build something good, it ships.”
“The people! They're smart, thoughtful, fun to work with and passionate about their craft.”
“I'm having the most fun I've had in my entire career.”
If you want responsibility, trust, and the chance to help build the future of sports prediction markets - take your shot, we’d love to connect.
Our work is tied to live sports - that means potential nights, weekends, and pressure included.
If you need clear swim lanes, a heavy process, or someone to tell you what to do, this won’t be the right environment.
