About this role:

The role of the Field Sales Representative within our Customer & Commercial Team is to be the initial ‘face’ of Voneus, representing our brand in your area and introducing our products and services to potential customers located in rural communities, and helping build and support our customer base.

Reporting to the Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating sales activities in your specific area to successfully convert prospects into customers through a variety of sales methods, focusing on door-to-door sales.

About Voneus:

Voneus is on a mission to change lives in rural and hard-to-reach communities by bringing ultrafast, reliable fibre broadband to places traditional providers have overlooked.  We connect homes across countryside villages with full fibre directly to the home: delivering ultrafast speeds, better reliability, and a better life for our customers.

But this isn’t just about broadband.

It’s about closing the digital divide, and you being part of that change.

What will you be doing:

• You will interface directly with potential customers, explaining the benefits of our products.
• You will meet real people, solve real problems and help customers transform how they live and work in their communities.
• You will be working outdoors, staying away from home 1-2 nights per week.
• With our bundled packages, you will help customers choose the right package (alongside broadband, we offer WiFi mesh, VoIP phone and security products)

This is a challenging, but rewarding role. You will learn a lot. We have great experience in growing our teams,

professionally and personally.

You’ll be out in the field, meeting real people, solving real problems, and helping customers transform how they live — from staying in touch with family to accessing healthcare and everyday services online.  You won’t just sell a product. You’ll build trust. You’ll build confidence. You’ll build you - as part of a high-performing and supportive team.

We will work with you to ensure you:

• Master core sales skills that will help grow your career
• Hone your communication, influencing and persuasion skills
• Understand the benefits of performance and resilience
• Build confidence most people never develop

You’ll also gain real experience with:

• Modern sales tools, including Salesforce and AI
• Structured sales processes
• High-performance team environments

Required experience and knowledge:

• Proven track record in a business to consumer environment.
• Knowledge of sales techniques within the sales cycle and how to mitigate and overcome pushbacks.
• Able to engage with customers from different areas, researching specific area knowledge and traits to communicate with them effectively and easily, both in verbal and written format.
• Strong customer experience skills to build rapport and follow up with any queries in a confident customer focussed manner.
• Knowledgeable in using a CRM is desirable.
