About the Role

The Event Coordinator will support the full production lifecycle of Dorsia's events, from intimate member dinners to large-scale brand moments, bringing ambitious concepts to life with precision, taste, and operational rigor. This is a hands-on production role for someone who lives in the details; someone who can wire a run-of-show, negotiate a vendor contract, spec out an AV setup, and build an event calendar all in the same week.

Facilitate all on-site execution, including load-in, show flow, guest experience, and strike.
Maintain a forward-looking event calendar, managing sequencing, lead times, and resource allocation across simultaneous productions.
Own post-event recaps, learnings, and recommendations to continuously improve future executions.

Vendor & Production Partner Management

Act as primary point of contact between Dorsia and external production teams, vendors, and freelancers.
Manage vendor contracts including AV, staging, lighting, fabrication, décor, staffing, security, and catering.
Ensure production partners deliver on scope, budget, timeline, and brand expectations.
Troubleshoot technical issues onsite with confidence.

Budgeting & Operations

Support event production budgets, tracking spend, and ensuring alignment with financial goals.
Track spend in real time and proactively flag risks to financial goals.
Identify opportunities to scale production efficiently without compromising quality.
Manage production schedules, asset tracking, and logistics across multiple events.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Brand Marketing, Partnerships, and Business Development to align event goals and storytelling.
Work closely with internal creative teams to ensure physical environments reflect Dorsia’s aesthetic and tone.
Collaborate with Membership and Ops teams to ensure guest experience and hospitality execution are seamless.

Experience & Quality Control

Act as a steward of the Dorsia brand in physical spaces, ensuring events feel premium, intentional, and thoughtfully curated
Anticipate risks and proactively problem-solve in fast-moving, high-pressure environments

Workplace Philosophy at Dorsia

At Dorsia, we believe that culture eats strategy. The best ideas in the world mean nothing without the right people around the table and the right chemistry between them. We are, unapologetically, a people-first organization.

In-Person Matters

We’re creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for the most discerning audience in the world. That doesn’t happen over Zoom. It happens through collisions: a spark across a desk, a kitchen-side conversation that unlocks a partnership, the energy of ideas felt, not typed. That’s why in-office culture is non-negotiable at Dorsia.

Who We Hire

We don’t subscribe to check-the-box hiring. We hire for merit and mindset, which naturally creates a team with varied backgrounds. What unites us isn’t demographics, it’s a shared vision: to build the social operating system for the cultural vanguard.

Lifestyle Hours

We’re not a 9-to-5 company. Our lifestyle mirrors our members. Early flights, after-work events, and late-night sprints when the work demands it. But we love what we do, and we definitely love a good party.

High Performance Culture

Working at Dorsia isn’t for everyone—and that’s the point. Our culture is designed for builders, not passengers. We move fast, set ambitious standards, and expect people to rise to them. If you have the talent and the drive, this will be a ride to remember.

A Final Word

We’re building something special. It will take long hours and relentless effort. It’s not for everyone. For those with the metabolism, you’ll create something that changes how culture is lived. And that’s the kind of work worth your life’s energy.
