ApplyWe are Sila, a next-generation battery materials company. Our mission is to power the world’s transition to clean energy. To create this future, our team is building a better lithium-ion battery from the inside out today. We engineer and manufacture ground-breaking battery materials that significantly increase the energy density of batteries, while reducing their size and weight. The result? Smaller more powerful batteries that can unlock innovation in consumer devices and accelerate the mass adoption of electric cars to eliminate our dependence on fossil fuels. We're tackling one of the biggest challenges of our time every day, and together we're redefining what's possible. Are you ready to be a part of a team committed to changing the world?
The Corporate EHS&S Program Manager is a high-level leader responsible for working cross-functionally to steward the strategic direction, implementation, and health of Sila’s company-wide Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability programs. Operating at the corporate level, this role does not manage day-to-day site operations; instead, you will architect the overarching EHS&S Management Systems, governance models, and compliance frameworks that enable Sila to safely develop and scale its technology across R&D and high-volume manufacturing.
As a master cross-functional orchestrator and executive communicator, you will lead through influence, partnering with EHS&S site managers, R&D, engineering, and operations to maintain a rigorous culture of safety, health, and environmental stewardship into our commercial execution as we scale manufacturing of batteries and battery materials in the US.
