Who is Sonar?

Sonar is driving the future of agent-centric software development. As the leader in AI code verification and governance, we solve a critical problem: ensuring that software generated by AI-assisted developers or autonomous agents is reliable, secure, and maintainable.

Integrating seamlessly with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and Devin, we help over 75% of the Fortune 100 build trusted, reliable, compliant software. Customers who use Sonar are 44% less likely to report an outage due to AI-generated code.

We believe code verification is the critical missing link in the Agent-Centric Development Cycle (AC/DC). Industry giants like Nvidia, ServiceNow, Booking.com, Goldman Sachs, AstraZeneca, and Ford Motor Company count on us to provide independent, explainable, consistent review and governance of their AI-generated code via products like:

SonarQube: The world’s leading AI code review and verification platform.
SonarQube Foundation Agent: Currently topping the leaderboards for agentic software repair.
SonarSweep & Sonar Context Augmentation: Providing the enterprise-grade context and constraints agents need to be truly effective.

Our team operates across global hubs in Austin, Bochum, Dubai, Geneva, London, Singapore, Tokyo, and Washington D.C. We move with a mindset we call CODE:

Committed to our customers and community.
Obsessed with quality.
Deliberate in our decisions.
Effective as one team.

With over $400M in revenue and profitable, fast-paced growth, we are building the backbone of the AI software revolution. If you’re hungry to have an impact, want to build at a fast pace, and ready to work at the forefront of AI, we want to hear from you.

The Impact You Will Have:

Create the courses, labs, and learning content that teach Sonar customers and partners how to get maximum value from SonarQube — accelerating adoption, reducing time-to-value, and building lasting product competency.

Help build Sonar's Partner Accreditation Program from scratch, developing the sales and technical content that enables partners to independently deliver Sonar revenue motions at scale.

Bridge the gap between complex technical capabilities and the people who need to use them — whether that's a developer integrating SonarQube into a CI/CD pipeline or a partner SE leading a customer migration.

Contribute to a growing education function that is central to Sonar's commercial strategy, with your content directly influencing partner-led pipeline and customer retention.

What You Will Do Daily:

Research, write, and maintain high-quality course content for both customer and partner audiences — covering topics including SonarQube installation and configuration, Agentic software development methodology, CI/CD integration, and migration paths from SonarQube Server to SonarQube Cloud.

Develop content across formats: written modules, video scripts, lab exercises, knowledge checks, and assessment questions — working closely with Instructional Designers to bring each course to life.

Adapt existing customer-facing content for the partner persona, ensuring the framing, depth, and emphasis are appropriate for partner AEs, BDMs, SEs, and implementation engineers.

Publish and maintain courses in the LMS, keeping content accurate and up to date as the product evolves.

Collaborate with technical SMEs, Product, and Customer Success to ensure all content is technically accurate and reflects real-world workflows.

Use AI tools to accelerate content development, improve consistency, and scale output without sacrificing quality.

Identify gaps in the learning catalog and proactively propose content to address them, informed by customer feedback, support trends, and product releases.

Experience Needed:

At least 3 years of experience creating technical content for developer or technical practitioner audiences — tutorials, documentation, eLearning, or similar.

A working understanding of software development practices: you're comfortable discussing CI/CD pipelines, code quality concepts, DevOps workflows, and cloud vs. self-hosted deployment models.

Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured, accessible content — without dumbing it down for the audience who needs it.

Experience working across content formats, including written and video (scripting, on-camera, or voiceover experience is a plus).

Familiarity with LMS platforms and the mechanics of publishing and maintaining eLearning courses.

Strong collaboration skills — you work well with SMEs, Instructional Designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to produce accurate, polished output.

Hands-on experience with SonarQube (any edition) is a strong advantage; familiarity with static analysis, SAST, or code security concepts is a plus.

Experience writing for both customer and partner/channel audiences is desirable but not required.

In-office culture

We're intentional about this. We believe the best teams are built in the room together. Three anchor days — Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays — create the collaboration rhythm that makes a hub office worth having.

Candidates need to be genuinely based in the location the role is posted — if that's not where you are today, we're happy to support relocation for the right person.
