We are looking for a Data & BI Consultant to support our Data team
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and presenting our Data Products, while working directly with clients to understand their reporting needs and translate them into valuable data solutions
The Data Team is working closely with the Development and Commercial teams to fulfil customer needs
In this role, you will align with clients regularly to gather feedback on existing reports, understand their business requirements, and identify opportunities to improve our reporting products
This means you will not only work with data, but also think from a product perspective about how our Data Products can better support our clients
To succeed in this role, you will collaborate with Data Scientists, Project Managers, Product, Commercial, and clients
You will tackle dynamic and challenging tasks daily, as the Data team is involved in almost every vertical within the company
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
Develop, maintain, and improve PowerBI reports and dashboards
Translate client and business requirements into clear reporting solutions
Meet regularly with clients to gather feedback on existing reports and understand their changing needs
Think from a product perspective when evaluating reporting requests and identify opportunities to improve our Data Products
Present findings and reporting solutions to clients and internal stakeholders
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and clean data by reviewing standardized reports and performance indicators to locate and resolve issues
Identify and define opportunities to improve existing processes, reports, and Data Products
Preferred experience
Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases and data
At least 2 years of hands-on professional experience with PowerBI
Strong communication and consulting skills, with the ability to understand different business needs and communicate data-related topics clearly
A product mindset and the ability to look beyond individual reporting requests to understand how reporting products can be improved
Experience working directly with clients is essential, as this role is a client-facing role
Comfortable working with different stakeholders and taking initiative in a client-facing environment
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification is a strong plus
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience working with data and analytics
Experience translating business or client requirements into practical reporting or data solutions
