Corporate Development Associate

About Dwelly

Dwelly is on a path to transform the $1.5 trillion residential rental market — one of the largest and most antiquated consumer industries in the world. We're an AI-enabled lettings and property management platform growing through a roll-up strategy: we acquire established letting agencies and their sticky, recurring-revenue landlord portfolios, then integrate them onto our technology — automating tenant management, payments and maintenance to radically improve the experience for the millions of households who rent. Backed by some of the world's leading venture funds, we're building one of the UK's most ambitious proptech platforms — and we're moving fast.

About the Role

We are looking for a Corporate Development Associate to sit at the centre of some of Dwelly’s most important strategic decisions.

You’ll be part of a small, high-performing Corp Dev team, owning much of the analytical and execution work behind how we fund the business and where we grow next. This will span capital strategy and fundraising, investor work, and broader growth projects such as international expansion.

This is an execution-heavy role: you’ll build the models, run the analysis, create decision materials and help drive workstreams from an initial question through to a clear recommendation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Capital Strategy & Fundraising

• Build the analysis and materials that underpin Dwelly’s capital strategy, including equity raises, debt financing and broader capital structure decisions
• Own financial analysis and modelling for financing scenarios, valuation, dilution and investor returns
• Help develop Dwelly’s equity story and fundraising materials, ensuring the narrative is backed by rigorous data and analysis
• Build and maintain investor-ready materials and data rooms ahead of future funding rounds

1. Investor & Strategic Analysis

• Prepare analysis and materials for investor and Board discussions
• Turn complex operating and financial data into clear, decision-ready insights for senior stakeholders
• Research potential investors ahead of future capital raises

1. Strategic Growth Projects

• Work on high-priority growth questions outside of M&A, including international expansion and new markets
• Build market assessments and financial models to evaluate where and how Dwelly should expand
• Work cross-functionally with teams across Dwelly to turn strategic priorities into actionable plans

Across all of the above, you’ll be expected to get into the detail — building the models, doing the analysis and creating the materials that allow the team to make high-quality decisions quickly.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Higher degree education from top-tier universities.
• Startup mentality: resilience, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills - ability to approach challenges logically and propose practical solutions.
• 2–4+ years’ experience in strategy consulting, PE / VC / Growth investing, or investment banking (M&A).
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills (comfortable building models from scratch and stress-testing assumptions).
• Genuinely excited about AI — you already reach for it in your own work and want to help build it into how the team operates.
• Strong commercial judgement and curiosity - you naturally ask “what really drives value here?”
• Highly organised, able to run multiple workstreams and deliver to tight deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary with the potential for equity options based on performance, recognising exceptional contributions to our integration success.

What is it like being a Dwell-er?

Feel free to check out Dwelly Core Principles. That’s about what we believe in, how we operate and make decisions.

What we offer is not a fancy office or a static workplace. Instead, this is solving one of worlds’ most complex problems in the largest consumer industry in the world (residential rentals), to improve the experience for >30% of households (>5M in the UK, and >100M including EU and US) that live in rental homes.

This is about disrupting the largest, most antiquated industry in the world, with one of the strongest operational and technical teams that exist in the UK and the EU. We work hard, and we shoot for extremely ambitious results. But we want people to be proud of what they’ve built and be able to look back and say one day “hell yeah, that was me that did it all”.

• Customer obsession rather than competitive focus
• Passion for invention
• Operational excellence
• Long-term thinking
