ApplyRockstar is recruiting for a fast-growing performance marketing agency that runs data-driven content campaigns for clients. They have a lean, global team with a strong analytical culture and a community of creatives. Their small size allows for fast iteration and ownership of outcomes.
The company operates a closed-loop growth system that autonomously manages content research, creative production, distribution, and measurement for enterprise brands and consumer applications. They are the largest TikTok-focused organic content network, directly managing over ten thousand accounts and delivering hundreds of millions of monthly impressions — organic reach at a fraction of the cost of paid social.
The Founding Content Strategist will own the outcome of every campaign the company runs — orchestrating its creatives and its tools, guiding its engineering roadmap, and collaborating with its account managers to hit campaign goals.
The strategist will own the performance of client campaigns end-to-end — utilizing the company's internal tools, deploying them strategically across client accounts, and working closely with account managers to ensure campaigns are hitting their goals. They will translate client objectives into content strategies, monitor performance, and make data-driven adjustments to maximize traffic and conversions.
Beyond client campaigns, the strategist contributes to owned-brand campaigns and exploratory work for new opportunities, and orchestrates the company's community of creatives — involving occasional off-sites to its offices in Eastern Europe. The company is looking for someone with strong creative instincts — enough to recognize what makes content work — but whose primary orientation is analytical and performance-driven.
Not all required — the more the merrier.
The strategist likely has friends and colleagues who consider them a leader — the kind of person who, when something they're responsible for is underperforming on a Saturday night, is already three experiments deep before anyone asks.
They are passionate about building things, with a tendency to tinker on projects. They care deeply that their team is a winning team. They are collaborative, reliable, and want to move fast.
