Apply💚 About The WOW Center
At The WOW Center, we believe that every person deserves the opportunity to grow, connect, and thrive. Our culture is rooted in compassion, inclusion, and genuine joy in what we do. We don’t just teach — we empower adults with developmental disabilities to live more confidently, independently, and meaningfully within their communities.
We are guided by our core values of Empathy, Excellence, Passion, Serving, Teamwork, and Continuous Improvement — principles that shape how we support the individuals we serve, collaborate with one another, and grow as an organization every day.
If you’re someone who loves uplifting others, celebrates wins big and small, and thrives in a collaborative environment, you’ll feel right at home here.
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
You’re patient and compassionate, with a natural ability to make others feel welcomed, supported, and included. You’re highly organized and dependable, and people can count on you to follow through and keep track of the details. You’re also proactive and adaptable—you notice what needs to be done, take initiative, and can adjust when plans change.
Most importantly, you’re warm and engaging and genuinely enjoy building relationships, encouraging others, and helping people participate, learn, and grow. If that sounds like you, you could be a great fit for our team!
What You'll Do…
The Community Based Education (CBE) Coordinator helps create engaging, meaningful learning experiences for adults with developmental disabilities—both in the classroom and throughout the community. Working alongside instructors and other program staff, you’ll encourage individuals to participate, build independence, develop new skills, and work toward their personal goals in a safe and supportive environment.
A key part of this role is helping bring learning into the community. You’ll help plan and coordinate CBE activities and outings, including schedules, participant information, permissions, transportation, documentation, and family communication. You’ll also provide hands-on support during classroom activities and community experiences, adapting your approach to meet different abilities and needs.
The CBE Coordinator works closely with the Education and Social Services teams to track progress, communicate important observations or concerns, and make sure each experience is safe, organized, and purposeful.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with people, staying organized, coordinating activities, and helping individuals build greater confidence and independence in their community.
