InTouch
ApplyWhy leave your current job to join InTouch? Because here, your experience actually moves the needle. You'll have real impact, your voice will be heard, and you'll be part of an impressive growth story. ✨
We're a fast-growing SaaS company helping smart cities move forward with technology. We're automating traffic enforcement with AI to make cities safer and more efficient. Our customers (cities, municipalities and police districts) rely on our products every day to keep mobility running for their citizens.
We're not looking for another pair of hands. We're looking for a driver: an experienced engineer who takes initiative, spots what needs to change before anyone asks, and isn't afraid to defend a well-reasoned point of view. You challenge us, we challenge you, and the platform gets better because of it.
💻 No more 3 AM firefighting. You'll build resilient platforms that scale and stay reliable, giving cities the tools to keep mobility running smoothly, without the chaos.
⚡ Modernising our stack. You'll transform legacy systems into future-proof solutions and play a leading role in shaping our evolving tech landscape.
Day to day, you will:
Design, scale and improve our infrastructure: Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, the Grafana stack and automation.
Set the technical direction: introduce new concepts, make architecture decisions and back them up with solid arguments.
Take ownership of solutions end to end, from design to production. You own what you deliver, and you make sure it's right.
Collaborate with motivated teammates who are passionate about raising the bar for engineering excellence.
👥 Lead by doing. Be a player-coach: guide and support your teammates, foster learning, and nurture a "No Blame" culture built on shared responsibility.
🤝 Push, but as a team. Pair-program with colleagues (and your AI assistant 😉), partner with internal customers, and speak up when you see a better way. Strong opinions are welcome here, as long as they're well thought through and land in true team spirit.
🔧 Raise the bar. Advocate for automation, best practices and high-quality, reliable cloud architecture. Where you see gaps, you close them. You don't wait for permission to make things better.
🛠️ Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience designing and operating scalable, high-availability infrastructure, with a strong focus on cloud-native platforms, automation and reliability.
A proven track record in leading transformation projects, migrating legacy systems to modern stacks, and mentoring engineers while fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure, the Grafana stack and building CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines and/or GitHub Actions).
Passion for best practices and for delivering stable, reliable and cost-effective solutions that support long-term ambitions.
The ability to turn vision into action: defining project plans, assessing risks and ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
Fluent in Dutch.
👌🏼 Nice to have
Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
Familiarity with Helm and ArgoCD for Kubernetes application management.
Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and containerized environments.
🤝 Mindset & Soft Skills
You take initiative naturally: you identify problems, propose solutions and follow through, without waiting for permission.
You defend your point of view with solid, well-thought-through arguments, and you're just as ready to change it when someone brings a better one. Always in team spirit.
You enjoy coaching others, sharing knowledge and helping teammates grow, while fostering a "No Blame" culture of shared accountability.
Collaborative and communicative: you value teamwork and know how to bring people together around common goals.
Analytical and quality-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset. You embrace feedback and keep learning.
📍 Location: Hybrid, with 2 days a week at our office in Leuven/Sint-Truiden. The rest of the week you work from home.
📅 Start date: As soon as you're ready.
💼 Package: Competitive salary, company car 🚗, 20 holiday days + 12 ADV days 🌴, top level Alan health cover, hospitalisation and group insurance, cafeteria plan, mobile subscription 📱, net allowance, meal vouchers and Eco Cheques 🧾
Our product empowers cities, municipalities and police districts with innovative SaaS software for traffic enforcement. Curious about how we approach this? Take a look at intouch.be!
Innovation. Anything new and useful. We try things, break a few, keep what works, and move forward smarter.
No jerks. If you need a definition... you're it. We keep it real, kind, and ego-free.
Trust. Trust each other to come through. We assume good intent and deliver on our word. You do your part, I'll do mine and together, we'll crush it.
Own it. We don't wait for someone else to fix it. We see it, solve it, and make it better than before.
Unite. We're in it together, through the highs and the lows. We show up, stay involved, and support each other when it counts most. Titles don't matter, people do.
Curious. We ask "why" until we hit gold. Curiosity keeps us learning, questioning, and laughing along the way.
Heart. Head. Hand. We care deeply about InTouchables and customers, think clearly, and roll up our sleeves to get it done.
#LFG. Learn. Feedback. Grow. We get a little better every day. Mistakes are data. Feedback's a gift. Growth's the goal.
