nPlan
ApplyCompetitive salary of $155k–$185k OTE, generous equity package.
Flexible hours, remote-first - so no constant site presence.
We're nPlan, a Series B startup backed by leading investors including GV (formerly Google Ventures), Chevron Technology Ventures (one of the largest owner-operators on the planet), and Suffolk Technologies (the global thought-leading contractor) — investment that reflects genuine conviction from the industry we serve. Our technology helps the world's biggest construction projects make faster, more confident, data-driven decisions.
By combining one of the world's largest datasets of project plans with advanced machine learning, we forecast project outcomes and reduce risk — reshaping how major projects in construction and infrastructure get built.
We are looking for a Client Project Manager to join our Commercial team in the US, focused on owning and growing strategic client relationships — with change management at the core of the job.
Every client we work with has to change how their planning and delivery teams operate in order to get real value from nPlan. Your job is to own that change: aligning stakeholders across a client organisation, embedding new ways of working around data-driven forecasting, and making sure nPlan becomes part of how the client actually makes decisions — not just a tool sitting alongside the old process.
This is a natural next step for people who've led technology-enabled change on capital programmes — for instance, in the capital projects or capital delivery practice at a firm like McKinsey or BCG, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, or EY, or in a delivery/advisory role at a firm like Arcadis, Jacobs, AECOM, or Mott MacDonald. If you've spent your career being the person who gets a client organisation to actually change how it plans and delivers, this role lets you own that outcome directly, for one platform and one set of clients, over the long term.
With an established base of key North American clients — including Chevron, Sound Transit, and the City of Ottawa — your primary focus will be on client engagement, success, retention, and expansion, acting as the central point of ownership for each engagement.
You'll have real autonomy from day one, with the trust to manage priorities, shape client change strategies, and collaborate internally to deliver outcomes that matter.
This role is remote-first, with occasional travel within North America (approximately 3–5 times per year) and limited international travel for client or team meetings (1–2 times per year).
We're excited to hear from people who are motivated by ownership, collaboration, and delivering outcomes for customers.
For this role, we're looking for someone with:
Several years leading change management or process transformation on major capital projects — ideally including experience embedding new technology or new ways of working within a large, multi-stakeholder organisation. This might come from construction or infrastructure project delivery, from a management consulting capital projects/capital delivery practice, or from 3+ years in construction technology or a related field.
A solid understanding of planning and risk management concepts, sufficient to engage credibly with project teams and challenge existing ways of working.
Strong communication skills and confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, from planning teams through to senior executives.
A demonstrated track record of leading — not just supporting — process and behaviour change initiatives, particularly where technology was central to the shift.
A customer-first mindset coupled with commercial acumen, with strong relationship-building skills and a focus on expanding long-term partnerships.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client engagements effectively.
Please include the word "crane" in your application.
We care more about potential and drive than perfection. If you're excited by what we're building, we want to hear from you.
This role exists to ensure customers consistently realise value from nPlan and choose to continue and expand their engagement with us — and that starts with successfully changing how they work.
Change leadership: Own the change roadmap for how a client's planning and delivery teams adopt data-driven forecasting — from initial onboarding through to nPlan becoming embedded in day-to-day decision-making.
Client account ownership: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring clarity, momentum, and satisfaction across the engagement lifecycle.
Value delivery: Understand each customer's goals and ensure nPlan is delivering against them, coordinating internally where needed to resolve issues or improve outcomes.
Commercial support: Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and expand usage of nPlan, working with internal teams to support account growth.
Stakeholder relationships: Build and maintain trusted relationships across client organisations, ensuring alignment and advocacy for the change at every level.
Competitive salary of $155k–$185k OTE, along with generous equity — when nPlan succeeds, so do you.
Flexible hours, remote-first - no constant site presence.
Generous holiday, private medical insurance, personal learning and development budget, enhanced family and sick leave, and more.
Room to grow — we're approaching 50 people and scaling fast.
Guided by our values: Learn from Everything. Be Radically Truthful. Aim High, Run Fast.
We're a curious, diverse, and mission-driven team united by a belief that better data can change how the world builds. We value openness, honesty, and diversity of thought — and believe the best ideas win, no matter where they come from.
Expect openness, collaboration, and balance — plus plenty of social opportunities!
