Careers @ Invert - General Application

The Company

Climate change is the defining challenge of our time, and the team at Invert is building innovative tools that empower individuals and businesses alike to tackle the problem head on. We are a team of experienced start-up scalers that have taken ideas from a whiteboard to the New York Stock Exchange, all while maintaining a focus on a rewarding, award-winning team culture. At this early stage of Invert's growth, we're looking for talented people who are passionate about making a difference through their work.

We invest in projects that result in carbon credits being created, such as planting a forest or building a machine that sucks CO2 from the air. By selling these credits on to individuals or businesses, we are able to generate revenue that lets us make more investments in projects that reduce or remove CO2, and we continue the cycle!

Place of Work

We work virtually with a preference for candidates based in or near or Vancouver, Ottawa or Toronto, Canada. Our team meetings are held within EST working hours.

Our Fit

We’re strong believers that diversity, equity and inclusion are a key strength and integral to our future success.  We want colleagues that can think differently, bring a range of experiences, are creative within their role, and know how to drive towards a team goal. We value both experience and expertise but emphasize capitalizing on the future potential of remarkable people.  We’re looking for colleagues who want to take action on climate change and drive our society towards net zero emissions by 2050.  We believe in working hard and in being flexible in how we get things done. We believe that working with good and kind people is as important as working with smart people. Our compensation model embodies rewards for performance and we believe everyone in the company should share in the upside of our success. In order to ensure this, we offer equity participation in addition to salary.

Accessibility

We welcome and encourage applications from people with disabilities. Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.
