Position Summary
The Care Director provides leadership, systems, and support that help Mission Church care for people well as the church grows. This role combines pastoral care with strategic leadership, building clear and sustainable structures that equip staff, leaders, volunteers, Partners, and Planters to care for people in the spaces they already lead.
Care at Mission is a shared responsibility—not a department people are simply passed off to. The Care Director owns the system, not every situation, creating the coaching, resources, teams, and pathways that allow care to remain personal, relational, pastoral, and sustainable.
The Care Director helps integrate care throughout Mission’s Gather, Grow, Go values so that people are known, supported, connected to appropriate resources, and ultimately helped to take their next step in finding and following Christ.
