Candidate Attorney Programme 2029

Choosing the right law firm for your practical vocational training is the first step towards a successful legal career. If you are passionate about law and want a rewarding career as a lawyer, Webber Wentzel should be your first choice.

We offer law graduates the opportunity to serve their practical vocational training with us over two years through our Candidate Attorney Programme.

The Programme

Our Candidate Attorney Programme offers diverse development opportunities to help each candidate attorney become a valued member of our legal team. We believe in cultivating the knowledge and skills of our people to help them launch successful careers in law.

As a candidate attorney at Webber Wentzel, you will be based in either Johannesburg or Cape Town. Over the two years, you will rotate across various legal practice areas, exposing you to a wide range of legal disciplines. In addition to receiving invaluable training from top attorneys and respected legal practitioners, you will participate in our in-house PLT Programme in preparation for the Attorneys' Admission Examinations.

We also provide platforms that enable more experienced attorneys to share their knowledge, impart their wisdom, and support and guide you throughout your two-year journey.
