Business Development Executive

About Aspire

At Aspire Technology Solutions, we look for dynamic individuals who want to work for one of the fastest growing IT and Cyber Security providers in the UK. It is an exciting time to join us on our journey as we grow and expand!

Our mission: To deliver technology like no other!

About the role

As a Business Development Executive (BDE) at Aspire, you are the spark that ignites our growth engine. This role places you at the very front line of our mission: connecting ambitious organisations with a platform designed to elevate their potential.

You’ll immerse yourself in our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), identifying the right prospects and opening the door to meaningful conversations. Every outreach, every discovery call, every meeting you book becomes a building block in the pipeline that powers our success.

This is more than a standard Sales Development Representative role. It’s an opportunity to join a high‑performing sales team through the Aspire Sales Academy - our structured, supportive pathway designed to accelerate your development. You’ll receive hands‑on coaching, tailored training and the tools you need to build confidence, sharpen your craft, and grow your career with intention.

This isn’t just about volume - it’s about curiosity, precision, and the drive to help customers realise what’s possible with Aspire. You’ll be the first voice they hear, the first impression they form, and the catalyst that moves them from interest to opportunity.

If you thrive in a fast‑moving environment, love the challenge of uncovering potential, and want to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our sales team, this is where you’ll make your mark.

What you will be doing

• Strategic Prospecting: Proactively research and engage organisations that match our Ideal Customer Profile, using a thoughtful multi‑channel outreach strategy to spark meaningful conversations.
• Research & Target Mapping: Identify key decision‑makers and stakeholders within target accounts, building a clear picture of who to approach and how to engage them effectively.
• Meeting Generation: Qualify inbound and outbound leads, creating high‑quality opportunities and booking new business meetings for our Business Development Managers (BDMs).
• Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date activity and prospect information in our CRM to ensure visibility, momentum, and strong forecasting.
• High‑Impact Collaboration: Partner closely with your Regional Sales Manager, receiving daily coaching, feedback, and support to refine your approach and accelerate your development.

What Success Looks Like

We set clear, meaningful benchmarks so you know exactly what strong performance looks like in this role:

• Consistent Activity: Deliver around 200 outbound calls per week to maintain momentum and ensure a healthy, fast‑moving pipeline.
• High‑Quality Outcomes: Secure a minimum of 5 new business meetings per week, creating well‑qualified opportunities for our BDM team

Training and career opportunities

• Real Sales Cycle Exposure: You’ll have regular opportunities to join BDMs in customer meetings and live product demos, giving you first‑hand insight into the full sales cycle and what it takes to close high‑value deals.
• Clear Path to BDM: For ambitious individuals who consistently deliver high performance and demonstrate a strong work ethic, we offer a transparent and achievable progression route into a Business Development Manager role. Your development is supported, structured, and designed to help you grow with purpose.

You will suit the role if you have

• Resilient & Tenacious: You’re comfortable with high‑volume outreach and approach rejection with grit, knowing it’s a natural part of the sales journey and a stepping stone to success.
• Curious & Coachable: You seek out feedback, apply it quickly, and are genuinely motivated to keep improving your craft.
• A Well‑Rounded Communicator: You’re confident, articulate, and professional on the phone, able to navigate objections and keep conversations moving with clarity and purpose.

This role is ideal for someone looking to break into sales, who brings a naturally personable and engaging character, thrives in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment, values structured training and clear progression through the Aspire Sales Academy and is ambitious about growing into a future BDM role.
